    Parcel force lost a door to a flight case I bought off eBay and refused to do anything about it because it 'wasn't packaged properly' and delayed the delivery of my grabber by close to a month. Not a fan, 2 epic fails.

    There's a yammy BB in that price range? I know it's a p/j and not an exact p shape but they're great basses. If you want an off the shelf solution I'd go for a Lakland skyline Duck Dunn, that has a jazz neck and a great P tone. Plus you wouldn't have to mod it at all unless you wanted to.

    Are there many overwaters out there with 4 strings? I saw a black one in speed music Cardiff years ago for £350. I've always regretted not buying it. I'd love to get my hands on one.

    Squire CV for sure. The yammy BB and RBX budget basses are awesome too though

    They are indeed gringos, our guitarist has a blacktop jazz master with a humbucker in the bridge that is amazing. Not sure I like either of these though.
