1. That's a shame! Sounds good though bring the lot! I've always been intrigued by toby's and ricks are cool too. I'm at music box today so I'll see how they are off for rooms on Sunday 1st of may. Would it be easier for anyone if it was the day before? Sat 30th April? I really want to be as accommodating as I can.
2. All more than welcome in my eyes, bonus points for wearing the spandex silvers too!
3. Cardiff bass day details in general bass discussion! All invited
4.
But not for me. Damn
Damn! I was looking forward to seeing my first wal why can't you come? I'd like to accommodate everyone if I can.
5. In the mean time I'd like to start a petition for rich to bring his Wal
6. Its hopefully gonna happen on sunday may 1st, If I can get enough rooms in music box for that day. does that sound okay to everyone? im gonna get an attending and bringing list on the opening post now.
7. If I can get there after work I will. I missed the funeral and sold the P I got off him so I'd best do something to celebrate his memory.
8.
Now I can drive I'd be tempted to try it I could bring my bergs and shuttle 9, my zoom b9.1 and the jazz's
Go for it! I'd like to hear your shuttle and bergs, although I'll have your old SB there so expect to leave with some GAS
9.
Yeah I'd love to come - I've never been to a bass day! Can we get Pino to come?
Palladino?
10.
How about asking Burke Shelley to bring along his old Precision...yum
I can certainly invite Burke along, although he suffered a heart anurism in Poland back in November and I havnt seen him since, I know he's recovering well. He's an interesting and funny guy, I may even ask him to do some sort of talk if he's well enough. Good thinking!
11. Sweet times! I like a bit of interest. I've just had a pm off a guy who builds valve amps who may be able to bring one to demo, I shall have my SVT rig, if I havnt got my barefaced/GB rig by then. Along with atleast my T-40, SB and jazz. What else can people muster? I'm gonna get in touch with a local luthier and possibly a teacher to run a workshop or 2, I'll try to source a drummer and a guitard to jam with too
12. I'd love to own this! Massive SB fan this week good luck with the sale!

14. I'd like to get on this. Cardiff(ish)
15. Good times what would people like to see?
16. I like it but I must point out that my SVT-4 Pro has 1600w of power and is too much, hense downgrading. I fear this may be pointless, but then the best things in life are.
17. Yeah. It was a burst coloured 4 string ABZ with black hardware and a maple board. What a bass!
18. Okay this is very much a reality now, I'll book it as soon as I know which day suits the most people the best, possible dates are sat 31st of april or sun 1st of may. I have dibs on both days at music box at the moment. The issue is the cost of 3 rooms for 5 hours, I'm imagining it will cost over £100 so I need 9 other definate attendees to come just to cover costs of the studio. Details about music box (I'll post more sooner to the date but for now) Music box is just off Penarth Road in cardiff, Tollgate close to be exact, I just can't remember what number, closer to the time I'll post it's full adress, contact details and a map of the area of cardiff it's in. It has 8 sound proofed well equipped rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, a tuck shop that sells crisps, chocolate, fizzy drinks and strings and the like. They're fairly well equipped gear wise too, Orange AD rig, SVT-2 pro, various cabs, various organs, various other stuff too. 20. I think another Cardiff bass day is in order. There are loads of us from SW and we don't know eachother at all.
21. indeed! mark is a bastard. I dont think he'll ever get me away from my SB and T-40 but I'd imagine he'll be selling me a Dingwall and a new head in the very near future. Also cheers Alex, I look forward to reading it.
22. Another SW boy here, I live in pontyclun. Welcome aboard mate!
23. It's fair to say that my preferences have changed somewhat since buying the 8x10. My everything louder than everything else attitude died and I'm now chasing a more modern, fuller, hi-fi sound.
24. I've looked at TC I'm just a bit worried it won't be loud enough being fairly low wattage compared to the GB. I havnt played if yet though. I went to BD a week ago and played the GB and a GK head through bergantino cabs with a Dingwall. It was this visit that made me want to completely rethink my rig. I will miss the Ampeg but I don't think my back will. I think I need to go back up to warwick.
