  1. Stunner!
  2. Am I the only one who opened this thread thinking it had something to do with Si?
  3. If anyone buys this they won't regret it! I have sn SB II elite (pretty much the same bass with 2 pickups though). The SB necks are beautiful. As is the tone. Also matsumoku build quality is second to none!
  4. I'd very much like to get involved in this please, can I join 'the list'. How many people has it so far been around?
  5. I wish i had something to offer. I'm tempted to offer my CIJ jazz but I'm not sure i can bare to part with it. Hmmm
  6. That's a lovely P. Bump!
  7. Which nut does this have?
  8. f***! Don't see many of these. Lovely example of an early Warwick.
  9. At music box (Cardiff) they have all sorts. Peavey Nitro bass heads, orange AD200 MK2, Ampeg SVT-2 pro, Ashdown 8x10s, Ampeg 8x10s, ashdown mag 4x10 combos, orange 4x10 and 1x15s and god knows what else. It's like aladins cave in there.
  10. Fancy a go on an amierican built Ampeg SVT-4 Pro? I always fancied a 400+
  11. Pic taken in longwave per chance??
  12. Looks a million times better than that f***ing Washburn. If I were Stu I'd have just got a new pickup combination in this. Definate future classic IMO
  13. I really like the facing wood
  14. Yeah I meant right. Lol. Nooooo I'd never take a plane to it. I'm tempted to do the 'cut the red wire' mod so that the pickups are buckers all the time though. I took the 800 grit to the back of the neck a while ago. That made it loads nicer to play.
  15. Colour me interested
  16. That's a cool looking bass!
  17. Mine has been having a thrashing at practice recently. I love the warmth and thickness it has. The pickups are so loud in humbucker mode too. Tuning stays perfect in standard, drop D or drop C. It really is a lovely bit of engineering. I just wish it had a chamfer for my left arm.
  18. Burke (from budgie) has a fretted one that he uses at jam nights and other places where he doesn't take take the 60s p bass he's never been seen without in budgie. I played it at a jam night once. Gorgeous bass in a strange ugly sorta way. Ridiculously heavy if I remember right though. That's coming from a T-40 player too.

  20. The entire Gibson bass range. All sound great. I have a grabber that just sounds awesome to me. But. And it's a big but every last one is ridiculously neck heavy.
  21. f*** me that is the most black thing I've ever seen!
  22. Black scratch plate coming to a candy apple red jazz near me!
  23. I'd be on this like a rash if it were active
  24. Hey Sam. Welcome to the forum, you're right it really is a great resource. I've learned a lot in my time here and am still learning now. I'm gonna check your band out next time I'm on a computer. Sounds sorta DFA1979 esque . I enjoyed reading your blurb. Enjoy the forum. Ash
