  1. Er... https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/339498-another-beauty-from-joinmyband/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-3783158
  2. It seems Alex has a response... https://www.joinmyband.co.uk/classifieds/im-handsome-like-phoenix-and-play-all-instruments-t1171857.html
  3. He looks like the wrong tube to me...
  4. How about this fella? Just don't mention Brit Rock to him. He hates it. Bigly. But he is cool and handsome. So there.
  5. The only really big one I've ever done is Womad (about 8 times now), and I think it's fab. I have without doubt heard some of the best music of my life there. OK, it's all jolly middle class etc, but it's very family friend and mostly tosser free. Toilets are pretty damn good, it's very well organised and the prices are fairly reasonable IMO. I imagine going to a rawk/indie type festival full of boozed up teens/twenty somethings would be an entirely different kettle of kippers however...
  6. Bought a very nice EWS Tri-logic preamp off Pete. Excellent comms and a pleasure to deal with, in spite of a slight delay in delivery courtesy of the good old Royal Fail. Cheers Pete!
  7. I've often thought this, also it would be good to include a tag for fretted/fretless too...
  8. Far too clever for me... although I bet those jump suits of Elvis's didn't smell good!
  9. Undoubtedly Prince. He always seemed pretty on top of his game to me.
  10. Send them an email, I did. It was actually a bit quieter the next time I went! Probably sheer coincidence of course. I despise muzak, especially at bloody christmas.
  11. Sold a BF Midget T to Ash, good communication, smooth transaction and a pleasure to deal with.
  12. Gen 2 Barefaced Midget-T, the one with the adjustable tweeter. Comes with a Roqsolid cover. I bought this on here early last year as a stop gap when I was unable to take my Big One to rehearsals when transitioning between vehicles. I only used half a dozen times over a couple of months and it is now surplus to requirements. It's in immaculate condition and fully functional. Prefer collection, or possible meet half way within a reasonable distance. Will consider posting at your cost, which I think will be between 20 and 30 quid. Cheers for looking.
  13. I think they have their own sound. Probably a good idea to listen to some clips on YT to give you an idea. The D'addarios ones aren't cheap unfortunately, but you could probably flog them on on here if you didn't get along with them...
  14. I think it helps if you read it in the voice of Borat... helps make sense of the banned names...
  15. Another vote for La Bella LTs... have 'em on my Lakland, and I get a pretty good fat sound out of them. I would say they are marginally stiffer than the TIs, but there's not much in it... Have you considered half rounds? The D'addario ones are very nice, and the light gauge set is not too stiff. They definitely cut through better than flats IMO...
