1.
Well, I'm getting close to 40 and my back is telling me I no longer need my lovely Mesa 400+ (that said, if you're after an all-valve amp it's one of the lighter ones) I am the third owner of the amp (still have the original receipt) and it appears that it has been very well cared for. Very slight scratch in the paint on the right hand handle is just about visible in the pics, but otherwise it's in excellent condition. Needless to say it sounds lush  and they have been discontinued fairly recently so you can't get them new I have changed the drive valve for a Mullard ECC81 which adds to the smooth valvey tone and makes the EQ much more responsive. However, I can include the original drive valve should someone want to change back. To save you google-ing them here's some Mesa 400+ reviews Priced to sell at £850 (no offers thanks) including the Boschma 6U rack case Hopefully the guys on this Basschat thread don't mind me linking to let on about the secret that is Boschma rack cases I'm based near Guildford in Surrey if anyone is interested and wants to try it out Cheers Stu P.S. I have relisted this without the Lexicon MX300 and I'd messed up the original ad with too much confusing stuff Decided it was better to start again!
I'm just curious. How does this one sound compared to the Mesa/Boogie Bass400? Except beeing louder that is. I tried the bass400 and it sounded almost exactly like Mesa/Boogie Buster200.I have never tried the 400+ but i have read somewhere that it sounds more warm and fat.Is that true?
 2.
Still available?
I have just found another one at home wich i'm going to buy.I can go by car and get it. I'm sure this is a great amp and a great bargain that Ed is selling. Atleast as far as i know it should be avaliable.
 3.
You are gonna love this
I think so too. I tried one in a musicstore a few weeks ago.Not too bad... Sounded great, especially with the cabinets that come with the series.

 5. I'm kind of curious about the Schroeder 1515 though.I was hopeing it would go deep and have a rounded deep end. I guess the Bergantinos are better in that sence then?
 6. I had an M2000 for several years. No problems, nothing. In fact my impression of that amp was:built like a tank, but not the tubiest, thickest sound.
 7. Thank you guys for the welcome. JimBob,I'm from a town called Lerum just east of Gothenburg. It's on the westcoast of Sweden. You're from Örebro right in the middle ,right?
 8. Hi,I'm Anders from Sweden. I found this forum when looking for a used Orange amp. This seems to be a big forum, alot of folks. I've been playing bass for about 20 years professionally.(I have got paid,i didn't say how much) I usually play rock hits, blues, country(americana) and occationally heavier stuff. We'll see if i can be a contribution or a load with tons of questions.
