  1. Few folks enquiring about the weight which is 8.5lbs/3.8kgs aprox according to our suitcase scales - which usually show heavier than the airport scales. So around or slightly less than shown.
  2. πŸ‘πŸ‘ lovely clampage 😎
  3. Now that's a retro blast from the past!! 😲 I had one, plus the slave amp back in the day, into a pair of 4x12 dual concentric columns 🀭 GLWTS πŸ‘πŸΌ
  4. Great stuff, and nicely photographed too πŸ˜‰ I'm a brass nut fan πŸ‘ŒπŸΌthey seem to be unfashionable these days, and I know some players see them as an 80's fad πŸ™„ Maybe I'm just showing my age πŸ˜†πŸ˜† Lovely work all round though πŸ‘πŸΌ
  5. Yeh it's a beauty, and I've got a few songs that'll use it in the set 🀞🏼At the start of the year when I knew I'd be retiring at some point midway through, I did plan on an old band of mine from 20 years back having one last hurrah, got the original lads to agree to reforming back in February, went out and bought a quality PA system etc...you can guess the rest @Al Krow😩 The planned holidays also evaporated..🀬 We managed a few rehearsals in-between lockdown/tiers then our drummer suffered badly with Covid...etc ☹️ All on hold for the time being πŸ™„ Plenty on at home though to keep me pottering☺️ and the prospect of being first time grandparents is coming in May '21 πŸ‘πŸΌ πŸ˜„
  6. If you've no plans venturing up the dusty end, the overhang looks good IMO, think it'll be a struggle to access? But like others have said, shame to cover that wood 😜
  7. Two great purchases off here, a full lighting rig including cases and everything else needed to make it all work bought from beautiful Biggar in Scotland courtesy of well known BCr @dmccombe7 And second, a superb Cliff Bordwell fretless bass, bought from top seller @Clarky which was a retirement present for me bought by my wife πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ She gave me the choice of a new watch or a bass - no brainer really πŸ˜† I did have a one and only time duff experience with a purchase that arrived broken and had to get one of the mods involved ☹️ And for Christmas, Santa brought two Kliq Aircell straps and a duel stand πŸ‘πŸΌ Who knows when any of it will see any gig action though ☹️
  8. That has got to be the most random thread interruption I've seen in a while on here, I actually laughed out loud πŸ˜†
  9. Haway man Andy, pack in wrapping pressies and crack on with this will ya! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms here... 😝
  10. Met Dave today to sell him a bass, lovely fella, great socially distanced craic, we both had our hand sanitiser at the ready! Great communication throughout and a pleasure to meet a fellow local BCr, who happens to play in a well known local band. I wish all sales went like this, local and done in two days! πŸ˜„
  11. Could I heck find that info!! Cheers @BaggyMan great sounding bass!!
  12. Well that was painless! Sold to a local guy 15 minutes away, couldn't persuade him to take the Jazz as well though πŸ˜† Cheers Dave!
  13. *SOLD* Thanks for all the interest everyone.

    GR i6 IEMs

+1 for the ZS10's @ped I bought them as back up for my UE Triple-Fi 10 IEMS, and IMO they are nothing short of amazing for the price. I'd seen @EBS_freaks mentioning of the ZS10's on here and bought mine from Amazon, it included two years insurance for them too, IIRC around Β£10 which included damage - so for Β£40 odd they were well worth the money IMO.
  15. I've also weighed the bass and it comes in at exactly 5lbs πŸ˜‰
  16. Sorry @iain_psb no thanks, I'm trying to have a clear out! πŸ˜‰
  17. Anything specific Tom? High mass bridge, lightweight tuners, maple neck/fingerboard, brass vol/tone knobs, Paulownia bodywood, I seem to recall the pickup was branded but can't remember what. All plays and sounds well. Anything else I've missed just shout up πŸ‘πŸΌ great bass for a young 'un as it's so lightweight, and equally for anyone struggling with heavier bass weight in general. This has been in a case behind a settee unused for years so time to let go. I'll weigh it when I get chance πŸ˜‰
  18. *NOW SOLD* Like the Jazz I've got on sale, this was bought on a whim and unused by me. Very lightweight, I'm just looking to get back what I paid years ago, Β£150 + delivery at your expense.
  19. The inspiration behind The BlazerRay, absolutely amazing what Andy did to Mick's bass, and those Simms make it extra special. Love that bass ❀️
  20. Dave it's killer! The pup and East preamp are a fantastic combo as said by @Andyjr1515early on in the thread..πŸ‘πŸΌ
  21. 7 hour total round trip with craic, coffee, traffic, weather and bog stops Dave πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
