2. Up until 2 years ago. Yes.
3. Nice looking bass, one I've never heard of let alone seen I checked the website and the translation into English makes hilarious reading... http://www.deviser-str.com/about-1/ GLWTS
4.
The most 'successful' (I don't mean commercially) bands I'm in have a dictator who is aware of their strengths and limitations. His or her judgement is trusted and respected on the stuff they really know about, and the rest of the responsibility is shared.
This. Is bang on. Saved me writing the same thing WOT
5. Bought Phil's Fishman Pro and deal was done and delivered within three days well packaged and great condition, deal with Phil in confidence, top bloke
6. My fave pinball game And a very unusual looking bass GLWTS
7. Ultimate Ears or Westone check out both companies websites for more details and specs. Both make in ear monitors with bass, mid and treble drivers. Incredible sound and with memory foam or custom made tips are ultra comfortable too
8. Bought a Jazz from fettsman, great comms and perfectly described bass. He travelled halfway up the country to his brothers and met me locally to seal the deal, excellent
9. Good advice thanks chaps!
10.
Good luck
Haha I'm gona need it!! What have I let myself in for?! I'm impressed with the bass for the money, and this one is in mint condition for a used model, but it's much more difficult than I ever imagined Right hand is not too bad as I have swotted up online for advice, but that neck depth and left hand finger spread required has totally surprised me - not quite 'just a big fretless' as a non bassplayer once described EUB! A lot of practise coming up
11. Recently bought an EUB from David. Excellent transaction, bass was in my house in three days at my request. Packaging was absolutely spot on and bass exactly as described. Great guy to deal with, excellent comms.Highly recommended! Johna
12. I've taken the plunge and finally bought one to mess around with at home - arriving this week and from this very forum. Its black with four strings, and as that's about all I know about EUB's I anticipate the next few weeks and months are going to be interesting as well as challenging I'm hoping this forum and YouTube will be a big help, wish me luck

In Memoriam

OMG just read this poor guys last words before ending his life at 21 years young, it's on his website link. So sad
15.
Looks like a Carl Thompson to me...

I believe it's a Ken Bebensee

It's definitely Robert Hurst on his Ken Bebensee bass.
Thanks chaps, that's three new names for me to check out!
16. As stated above, depends on whether or not you have the lightshow to warrant using 'smoke' or similar. If you want to accentuate lasers/LED/Par cans and maximise their effect a hazer is the way to go IMO. The mere fact you can 'fool' the average landlord or club committee when they see the small black box chuffing at the back of the stage by telling them it's not a smoke machine but a hazer is a big plus point If you have a DMX controlled hazer they have both an output (to control the amount of mist) and a fan (to control the speed it is propelled from the machine) We found we could set these two functions so that a constant but minimum visible haze was always coming from the hazer. By setting the hazer off one minute before going onstage we ensured there was never a big whoosh of white smoke that usually results in complaints, but the lightshow would still cut through the almost invisible haze without anyone really noticing it was coming from the hazer at the back
17.
If it is the same guy as has been doing the rounds, I wouldn't like it especially if detremental to his playing.... Now.... this guy is a whole different keetle of fish.. https://www.youtube....h?v=muisPg2ti8Y watch to the end...
Now that.... is class Anyone know what the bass is? I saw one very similar locally and it sounded amazing, I've wondered what it was since then!
18. Big thanks and congrats to everyone who runs this site, and of course those who contribute There'll be not much from me these days though
19. Somebody got a bargain beauty on the way by the looks of it, cracking bass at an excellent price! The boy Gaz may regret letting that one go, unless of course there is an incoming Status......
20.
Really nice looking bass and a good price. If I hadn't ordered one just before this came up for sale I would have been seriously tempted by this. GLWTS.
You've got enough basses already you.....
21. 6 Months?

24. Great band, famous for their superb vocals and harmonies, and lovely light and shade in that song. One of the most talented bands up here in the Northeast and still garn strong, excellent Mr WoT!
25. I recently got to play this beauty at the NE Bass Bash and loved it Fantastic tonal range and a definitive MWAAAAAAH to be had from this lovely looking and sounding fretless. If you are in the market for your first fretless you could do a lot worse than this beauty, and if you want to improve on the one you already have - this could be what you have been looking for Plus of course it's on sale from the world famous Mr Hunt, purveyor of fine basses and all round decent chap, what more could you ask for? Have a bump on me Sir, for that is one lovely fretless
