Dakota red is such a good red. Some I really dislike.

I'd plug it with maple and wood glue then re-drill the hole.

So I've been having a little think and I'm looking at this spec. Just waiting on Mark to get back as he's away. Precision Burgundy mist with matching headstock. Rosewood fretboard with dots and binding (like a '66? Jazz). Parchment pickguard. PJ pickups Master Vol/balance/tone and side jack. Hipshot lollypop tuners and kickass bridge. Medium aged.

TC Polytune mini if you have a tiny board.

MXR microamp? Have it on for the passive stuff and off for active. Place it at the end of your pedal chain with the amp's -10db switch on.

I'm going to give it a go. Then if it sounds better build myself a nice loop for my board.

I'll never sell it Dave. I'm recording with my band this weekend. Taking that and the pink Jazz with me. Two great basses. Part of me wants to get two MIM P basses and keep this P and my jazz for recording and home. The P is 30 this year I think.

I've had a VBC810. Best sounding 810 I've ever heard. I did have to mod mine though. The back panel was buzzing against the internal shelves for each pair of tens. So I glued some wooden batons inside each one. Problem solved.

And it sounded dreadful. Really plonky and dead sounding. So I switched on my DG VMTD and it was way better. Do they all sound like that?

Is there a crossover option in the tone print editor? So I can have my low notes without modulation?
