obbm's feedback

my speaker cable is awesome. and we traded basses and he drove all the way to mine because i had no transport. top bloke and very nice chap. viva la OBBM!
10. its pre amp clipping. so its all good then.
11. i just received a jack to jack speaker lead off dave and it is fat. i mean its awsome. i feel totally confident using it rather than a skinny speaker lead that you buy from a music shop. when ever i need new instrument cables OBBM is the man for it.
12.
It'd be a fairly "standard" Bongo6. I've been in love with this bass since I was mucking around with photoshop a couple of years ago.... Or maybe even an SR6... I'd tune it E to E, like a guitar. As for custom options, EBMM basses sound right to me already, and I probably wouldn't bother. Maybe a passive option? Sadly, I can't imagine being able to afford either any time soon.
the sr does look really nice. good skillz
13. its a ricky thingy like mani uses

16. yea very clean cut.
17. it has a signal indicator light that shows green and then shows red when i clip. my question is, can i clip it all the time without damaging it seeming as its an all valve amp.

24.
Chipboard? No idea what they're made of nowadays, but I've seen enough battered old ones to know that they were definitely ply. Maybe just the rear baffle is chipboard, which is a practice that Marshall uses.
true about the marshall as i have one. i also think thats correct about the ampeg. i'd just go for all ply.
