1. So David, when are you coming up to Dundee with the 280s to see Dave (non zero) and I
2. ok OldGit, you convinced me I'm gonna try and get all the guys to wear little sexy posing pouches - a different animal each.
3.
I usually wear a black 'wifebeater' to show off my muscular tattoed arms with either (depending on how saucy I feel) Black leather or black levi's or even tiger stripe combats. Trainers dont do it for me so its normally Hi Tech magnums or work boots. I will on occaision wear a bandana but am after some suitably cool headgear as I have no 'barnet'. This does not stop the women from finding me hot even though I am old!! I am a stud and a tart and I love what I do. Have you seen TM Stevens...? Now thats the way to dress!!
Wow....
4. Yes - to be fair he didn't have any hassle in returning the item and getting his money back... However, he was so put off he went and bought a bloody Ashdown thing instead
5. Im not a TBer, but I have a mate here who had a schroeder mini 10 which began to rattle and the cabinet split apart in two places - AND that was after home use only. A VERY big issue for me. Mind you - my own cab is made of chipboard crap so I can't really complain
6. SHROEDER Superior Sound, Inferior Build Quality ;)
7. I'd like to come - but I don't think driving to Northampton from Dundee would be sensible.
8. Im one of those terrible people that wears whatever the hell I put on in the morning. When on tour, changing into 'performance' clothes is the last thing on my mind. We're a music group, not a touring fashion show. Of course its completely different when working as tribute acts, theatre work, covers and functions etc.

home made cab

Just build one of Bill Fitzmaurices designs. Build yourself two DR250's with switchable tweeters. You'll have a 2x10 lightweight stack the same height as an 8x10 and able to push just as much air.
10. Still got the ODB3, and any idea how much you want for it?
11. Thats pretty cool, and the more good stuff i hear about DHA the more interested I get!
12. Hi Stuart! Where in Scotland are you? Nico
13. Do you mean you contacted someone about your problem, then fixed it yourself, and THEN heard back from the repairer? If so - I guess £50 is fairly high, but sometimes when I do repairs I still charge for 'bench time' even if the problem isn't something fixable by me at that time. For example, if someone drops in a bass with active circuitry and I spend a good while with it, I can pinpoint perhaps exactly where on the circuit board of the pre the problem is, but won't fix it, because im not a circuit board repairer type blokey. I still ask for some money for my time though. Unless it was someone who wasn't a moron, in which case I'd probably do it for free. (Not saying you are a moron, but 90% of the people who get me to set up their guitars etc. are fairly irritating).
14. I'll pass for now on this 'un... These are great cases guys! Flightcase Warehouse make some damn good boxes!
15. Hmm... If you'd be willing to post, I know someone who would probably be very interested in this. Lemme know and I'll let him know.
16. Hmmm... anyone got any idea how much this type of thing would cost to post via courier?

'Ignore User'

Im not ignoring anyone just yet, but I just find that there are a number of slightly irritating posts which 99% of the time have no relevance whatsoever to anything being discussed - and they all come from the same person . So it'd be nice to have the option. And nah, its none of you

'Ignore User'

Another forum I frequent has a fantastic little feature where you can choose to 'ignore' a member - meaning you never see their posts on the forum. Is there a way to do that here?
19. Yup, not also that all photos were taken at 15:00.... its likely it took him more than 59 seconds to take those photos
20. I love my '85 but the guy across the hall from me has an absolutely stunning dark '87 which I just can't get my mind off. Sometimes I pretend to do extra DIY just so I have an excuse to be out in the hallway in the hope of catching a glimpse of that beautifully figured body. Guilt.

6x10 plans

borrow an ampeg 6x10 and copy it. It's a horribly simple design, and makes me feel a bit sick since I spent 900 quid on it. I want to buy a Berg 6x10 next, too.
22.
fair enough. But he put 21 frets on his guitars so why not his basses as what i'm thinking really.
A great man once said - "Theres no money above the fifth fret". Now, money or no money, I believe this is a more valid opinion than that of anyone who would actually play the 21st fret on a bass guitar.
23. paul - the sandberg weighs a touch more than my passive fender jazz... im not sure what that is in actual figures but it isn't a lightweight. the lack of fret markers has not been a problem for me at all yet, as the markers on the side of the fretboard are fine for me. again, the neck is a touch chunkier than on my jazz, which I really like (I'm a big guy, 6ft 4/5ish with hands to match). I would definitely recommend you try one out though and see what you think of it. I showed it to my bands sound engineer for the first time in his studio, and we DI'd it through an Apogee preamp and played about with it using the Ampeg SVX modelling software, and even just at that, he too was very impressed with it.
24. Welcome!
25.
Can you get tasty motown tones out of the P-pup?
yes! and thanks everybody... im loving this more and more each time I play it!
