  1. I'm not to sure 2-2.2kg at a guess? Definitely not heavy
  2. I like to use dirt and distortions, so I use a gritty pre amp pedal (Dark glass ,sansamp) as an always on drive with great Eq options which a lot of great heads don't do alone.and sometimes the mix of the head and pedal yeild excellent results. My Pro3 on its own is ok...but with a bit of blended bassdriver it just comes alive.
  3. I doubt you will, but if you ever decide on breaking up the parts I'd definitely be interested in the body 👍
  4. Sorry to anyone interested, gonna withdraw it for the mo.
  5. Me too (although the heads long gone), I much preferred the sound over the 8x10 plus was easier to get around
  6. I know, gutted.i might save my pennies yet n get it looked at.
  7. I had my great condition pro 3 on my bench adjusting the MOSFETs, I gave it a micrometer of a turn and they were reading pretty spot on...where I left the amp running half HR or so with no problems.before I put the lid back on I thought I'd give it another quick check, when I touched the mosfet leg with the multimeter clip (as shown in picture) it made a crack and quick spark.not sure what the damage is...could be a simple fix or could be a big fix 🤷.doesn't appear to be any scorching or damage anywhere else.i did switch it on quickly afterwards where it cut out after a min or so (protection mode).collection or Can meet within reason.Happy for someone to Arrange their own courier.
  8. I'm thinking that👍iTS a itch that definitely needs scratching now
  9. I hope it comes back to me...can't help but have the niggling feeling that Andertons are just going to refund me rather than repair (they did say it'll come back for repair).
  10. Yeah when I looked under the hood them holders looked rubbish,as if they were made from KitKat wrappers. At low levels it felt a lot clearer than the pro3...but means nothing until I hear in a band mix
  11. It was from Andertons, tbf they have been sound with it... Had collected and are doing all repairs.
  12. Arrived in the post from DPD like it had been forklifted 😡 The fuse's had all come out and 2 holders were broke, rack ear bent round and top Damaged... surprisingly the inners weren't to bad ,and the face. Managed to patch it up just to test (it works thank god).... And the sound was absolutely wonderful 😁. I won't get to try it properly until it's back from repairs. But in that short tryout I was mighty impressed
  13. Replied 👍
  14. I got this lovely body as a build. I've stained it and many coats of tru oil (slight distressed look) It's a lovely weight (not heavy). With black pickgaurd 85 posted.
  15. Fantastic condition Boss SY1 . This is so simple to use with many great synth sounds...the tracking on it is soo good 👌. £115 posted. Always open to trades?
  16. Idle hands, read lots on how the 3 pro sounds vastly better with correct bias 😒...they were incredibly low tbf , averaging at 3 MV each.
  17. I adjusted the MOSFETs after lots or reading up on it....had them all pretty much spot on at 20-23mv average on each after tiniest of a turn on the trim pot (literally just touched it) ...left it running half HR no probs , then I put the mutli meter clips on a MOSFET to double check for piece of mind and when it touched the MOSFET it made a crack n quick flash under the board.reading on similar issues it looks like it might be a pricey job to correct 🤦. I'll be popping it up on here for spares n repairs, might be easier fix than I think... But doubt it. It's an immaculate amp as well 😒gutted
  18. I've gone and bought it so fingers crossed it's reliable....I'm sure it'll sound great
  19. I had the 4stroke but couldn't get it to work for me
  20. Unfortunately I fried my Svt pro3 head last night 😭. Now im after another old school lump not costing an arm and a leg... I was interested in these heads years ago and one has just popped up, hardly any reviews on it.Theres a little bit of a write up from waterofthetyne on here (2008). Anyone have any experience with these? Reliability mainly 👍
  21. I see they do a smaller version (without octave switch) wonder if it could accommodate a blend?
  22. I like the look of this
