I Had the 500 a few years ago. Found it worked great as a platform amp using a preamp into it like vt bass. On its own for me it didn't do much to excite..... I like boosted mids and a little growl.but for the price it's hard to beat.

To me (from my bad memory) it sounds brighter than my old 1001 and 700 was? , if I really had to pick a negative the overly britness at flat would be it.... But hey! There's a knob for turning it down. Definitely some fantastic sounds to be had. Thanks to your old post I grabbed a skb mixer bag.... Perfect fit 🙂

Yeah. .. Mighty odd why the standby light stays on even when switched off?! Not being loud Is the biggest problem buying gear at the min,its just sat staring at me 😒

After reading heaps of positive reviews and talk of "Heft" with these New Gallien heads I thought I'd give it a wizz.I've had a 1001 and a 700 rb before but never tried the classic 400/800 this is based on. Only had a quick blast tonight and it sounds great....... Won't be able to crank it until I'm in the rehearsal room with the boys, god knows when that will be? 😭. Anyone else Rocking a Legacy or fusion s?

I was going to buy that one but I found a brand new one on a early black Friday deal from a Czech online store called Kytary ( good reviews like Thomann). Was the same price 599 😮. Only had 1 in stock though 😉

Stumbled on this Russian made overdrive on tinternet, hardly any info on it... Just this vid Took a punt on it, arrived today ( only took 5 weeks to get here 😄).. Quite impressed It sounds great, good quality and small. Its quite a unique sounding overdrive very coloured (in a great way). If I had to compare it to anything then maybe boss odb ish at a push? ..... But way clearer and more meaty. I haven't a clue what the telephone/service connector on the back is for?!? Anyone 🤷‍♂️.. All instructions are in Russian

Just got the omnicab deluxe on a drunken buy....so i Thought I'd just flip it here, naa this thing is awesome! Not just with headphones or through a pc, straight into a amp it just 'adds' something magic to the sound 🙂. Just waiting on a black polytune mini ( to eliminate overhang) and I'm done for now 😂 P's... I certainly don't use the treble like that on my b7k
