  1. It feels like it's been yonks since my band has rehearsed because of all the chaos. Anyone had their usual rehearsal, practice space, studio reopen yet? Really destroying the soul not having that loud satisfying buzz of live band jamming
  2. Recently purchased this amazing custom cog from basschats Kev, I love Tom's pedals and this does not disappoint....... Its phenomenal 🙂. So much control over the tarkins mids and beef!and the Knight fall side is a clear tube type sound.led lights are blue white As much as I love fuzz, the project I have in mind (after all this virus shnizz has gone) is going to be needing more of a distortion sound than fuzz I'm thinking and the pedal if far to good to wait on my pedal shelf. If anyone fancies a trade? with ideally a Darkglass alpha omega, or similar.? ... with price adjustments from me. Here's a link to Kev's add
  3. £250 for all 3 is bargalishious. Cog pedals are the nuts
  4. Just received Kev's cog inertia pedal. Cracking basschater to deal with, zero problems... Top bloke 🙂
  5. I was going to buy that one... Suprisingly been there a little while now. I asked and its supplied with rack ears
  6. Keep coming back (again and again) to the VT bass. The heavy drive sounds are not to my tastes.... But their is a perfect clean/slight grit sweet spot that makes almost any amp sound perfect imo
  7. Dang!..... And what a wife 😮,
  8. Nice!. Really looks the part imo I was going to buy a 7400 that was on ebay last night..... Literally nipped upstairs came back down and it sold 🤦‍♂️ They seem to be quite rare now, I really want to try one, gas itch. If you ever decide to sell ahem 😉
  9. It seems the best deals that pop up on basschat always seem to be up north 😞 Always miles away, great price
  10. Hi Ed, thanks for the reply 🙂 I've had loads of tube amps in the past (ampeg, orange, fender etc) and everytime I sell one and say to myself the weight is to much...... The allure of glowing glass drags me back 😄. I've seen a b stock peavey vb2 at a corking price, never tried/heard 1 before but looked good on paper. Sounds like the volume might be good then, the ad200 volume was good...... But god I hated the eq of it.
  11. When you say noisey when cranked how'd you mean, when turning knobs? Looks quite a interesting head 🙂
  12. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone played both here? I've read all I can on the 2 and undivided which one to buy?? I play drop C pick playing using a P bass into a ampeg 6x10.playing heavy styles of music I've had lots of big weighty amps over the years(lots of valve, hybrid and solid states) but now I'm after a lightweight, not mega expensive neutral kind of amp (as why I'm looking at these 2). Most of my tone will come from my vtdi mixed with the amps pre. Do either of these give the feel and thump (without starting a ab vs class D war) of a old school big tranny head? Cheers
  13. Always fancied one of these and I have seen one for a decent price, anyone in these parts play thru them? Pro's /con's would be appreciated 🙂 Mainly what's the volume output like (ball park of the orange ad200 maybe)? ? I'd be playing it with a 6x10 cab. Many thanks
  14. Hi there. Is there postage on this? Cheers
  15. This one passed through my hands before.... Quite tempted to buy it back? Amazing overdrive and this is a Cracking price.
  16. Has anyone come across one of these foot switches before? It's on my ashdown hyperdrive, it's playing up.... I have a spare 3pdt switch but not much clue to wire it? Does it need a bridge wire as the original has what looks like a connecting line? Cheers
  17. Me too. Didn't care for it at all, and the spb-2.... Just louder mud. don't think I'll ever switch from the tonerider in my P bass now, bloody love it
  18. Never heard that before, will be sure to give it a try...... Cheers
  19. "Witness point"??.... I'm bending cut ends with pliers before wrapping round tuners, apparently stops any stretch of the core that can dead them quick. Never been a problem with other good sets
  20. Just bought this and put it on my board, fantastic natural sounding overdrive.... A bit like the bass soul food but way better sounding (not as shrill). As per usual something else is on my radar so needs gone. Its had about 3hrs use from new. It's got a little velcro stuck on the bottom £56 posted. Or if anyone has a way huge green rhino mk iv to trade with?
  21. Booo, was waiting for m rebate
  22. That colour ❤️❤️❤️
  23. Heard about these a few times but never tried. Anyone use the nickel ones going from rotosound?
  24. Tonerider trp1 pickups are my favourite pups to date, love em
  25. I love roti's 110 gauge nicklerounds, I know they don't last super long and can be slightly rough, but after years of searching for "the one" string sound (low priced and high) Ive never found a better sound for me....... .... The thing is the last couple of years its been a gamble buying packs as I've opened so many now where the E is as dead as a door knob fresh out the bag 😑, anyone else get this? Has their QC took a dive? It sucks as I love them for pick playing
