  1. I read somewhere that they are about 800(real) watts? Where are they £250? Quite interesting tbh
  2. 32 quid posted!! If it don't go this week I'll just keep it my draw
  3. TJ spiders Ash down is super value! Awesome amp ....300w not 2
  4. Need to go, £37 posted for a phenominal low/med overdrive
  5. I've always been a bit nervous trading by post....swapped my GK head with Rich's Tte800. Absolutely zero problems 🙂 Excellent com's, fast posting ..tip top basschat member. Deal with confidence. Would happily buy or trade with him again
  6. Not at all "wrong" mate 🙂 I've been through many many overdrives ( expensive and cheap)and the bad monkey into a tube amp or VT bass, p bass with a pick is my no1 overdrive :-)(got 2 spares)....... unmodified ,low and high eq just from maxed and gain a quarter, using the amp sim output(mixer) really is a perfect light growley drive for me.
  7. Would prefer a trade .......but also happy to sell for £550 , cost me £860 in all, so with age and condition I think priced fair.
  8. Lush! I love that bass tone on the first Weezer album
  9. A less than 1 year old (like new condition)Gallien Krueger 1001rb head bought new from andertons in March, in a premium French (black case brand)shallow 2u .Never gigged All the clean power and punch you could ever want, gets that nice Growley Duff sound when pushed. All info here http://www.gallien-krueger.com/1001-rb-specs/ As much as I love it I'm needing a different flavour for what I'm doing atm and don't want to have to stick a preamp in it. If anyone fancies a trade up? Ideally I'm looking for something ampegy, svt 4,5 .... or something with tubes ? Hit me up with anything similar in terms of "mid clank" sag type sound big or small but needs to kick out volume similar to this head ( stoner type band) Based in South Devon but happy to travel/meet etc Any questions please ask 🙂
  10. A awesome bjfe blueberry (not mad proffesor)overdrive clone built by Paul_5 of this parish. Fantastic sounding pedal as you might gather , one of the best low/med overdrive I used.there is a couple of screws missing from the bottom of plate, but it's super fixed on ( ain't going nowhere) sadley I'm needing fuzz again for a new project..... if anyone fancies a trade on a Freddrics green Russian, EHX Green Russian or similar?
  11. The valeton pedals are cracking little things.i also have the oc10 and their tremolo. I fancy trying their green fuzz.... big muff clone with active high and low knobs
  12. I had one of these when they came out, loved the crayon side but the hot tube side never got much use tbh. Stonking pedal for the price

    Darkglass X7

It would be nice to see more Darkglass demos using different genre's and more traditional type basses.... All I mainly hear is dingwals and metallic sounding metal tunes. I'm sure all his pedals could sound good in other formats. I liked the b3k on lower settings and would be interested to hear what more med type drive this could do
  14. Sure are.....that roasted neck though,yum 🙂
  15. Especially this one with a Freddrics green muff
  16. Any future of the left song has the best sounding P bass imo .
  17. I've been getting major gas for one of these lately https://www.reverendguitars.com/basses/mercalli-4( in cream). Not much in the way of reviews around ze net.....a couple of you tube vids. So has anyone on here played or had experience with one? The spec looks awesome for the price. For reference I play alt rock Drop C tuning 105-50 gauge with a pick.usually use a P bass
  18. Happy for you Paddy. I've had a couple of CL heads ( not the svt2) and you just cannot better the All valve ampeg sound imo. And man! What a price
  19. My favourite fuzz out there, don't know why but I liked it better than the ehx Russian reissue. Have a bump on me 🙂
  20. I had one of these a while back and did these mods ( mainly for mids)....and it made it 10x's better. Fairly simple to do as well
  21. Mental price, hope it's not a clanger
  22. I always use my vt pedal with eq all at noon , character 11 o'clock, drive 10 o'clock, vol 1 o'clock blend off and always sounds great and punchy using a p bass driving a ported 6x10. Tbf though it's usually going into a Amp head (GK 1001 or Hartke 3500 at practice space).
  23. I recently got the valenton OC-10 as well. Amazing little thing for the price, and sooo damn close to my old boss oc2 and feels very well built
