  1. It doesn't help he has a lovely tone to start with.
  2. I was looking at this earlier. Something actually interesting for bass from boss........ But yeah,a little late to the race m thinks( looks nice though)
  3. Almost the majority of bass/effect and amp demos I search for have some gimp thumb slapping!! As being prominently a plectrum player this seriously does my nut in( be them talented or not.). For someone doing a demo/review this doesn't make sense as most bassists mainly use finger/plecs? ( I'd guess)
  4. Wahhh, if you wasn't so far away and it was here on pay day I'd snatch this. Always fancied a bash on a Sx bass

  6. Ah man. I know you are gassing for 1..... But Dannybouy just beat you to the pip. Sorry man :-( Hope you have a lovely Xmas anyhows :-). SOLD.
  7. SOLD PENDING
  8. Me neither :-( Probably realise it was a mistake down the line and order another......., just going back to basics, using accenting to emphasise
  9. Price or trade value £0??
  10. Not 100% on this . Up for sale is the awesome cog effects knightfall 66 drive . Quite simply the best overdrive/distortion i have ever owned , iv'e had darkglass,bb pre and many more down the line. AS many on here will say this is an amazing transparent drive that cuts fantastic in the mix ,it can do lots of tones with having 5 selectable(internal) diodes for each channel ......mosfet,led,germainium,silicon and rectifier . It has your normal Level, gain ,blend and high knobs...............but the low works in a differnt way to most as it works as a tight to loose way, Turn it left and you can find the B3k sound easily (more modern) turn it right and it gets nice n old school tubey/loose . maxed out can give a nice fuzz. Don't really want to let go of this ,but i'm just using my ampeg head driven with a transparent boost now so its a shame to see it not getting used. Toms build quality is super. My 66 comes in a resin finish (hard to show in the pics ) that he says he wont be doing again. i think it looks top[attachment=179157:DSC_0019.JPG] £135 .........but i might take it down yet?( pedal not price) [attachment=179158:DSC_0022.JPG][attachment=179159:DSC_0035.JPG]
  11. If this is still floating around in a few weeks I'll probably have it off you.
  12. Crazy low price.
  13. I had the big john Obama..... Very un wah (as it was a fixed wah) Very very much like what your looking at, maybe not as fuzzy? But holds the low well
  14. That sounds wickee
  15. Xmas price drop £28
  16. Purchased a hardwire pedal from John. Was a pleasure to deal with. Zero hassle here folks :-)
  17. I love my Matt freeman. Popped in a kiorgan loom, dimarzio pups and a gotoh 201 bridge...... My does it play and sound awsome. :-)
  18. Is the skunk works that much different to a standard svt?
  19. Fuzz at home on my own is fab ( I've been through heaps). But in a band situation I'd take overdrive/distortion any day
