I'm quite interested in trying that Digitech Hardwire CM-2I had the humphery modded bm..... I preferred the original.

I think this could be of some help to those on a tight budget, and just curiosity :-) My vote is for the digitech bad monkey.used 1 for 2 years of gigging and recording and it was grand.

Isn't my amp self biasing(ie me).... Then running hot or cold not be an issue?

Cheers guys. I play dropped C with gain in the middle ( not to clean not to dirty). I was kind of leaning towards the tung sol.... £135? there coming up £166 on watfords, £144 hot rox. Ehx kt88s is what is in at the moment. So I guess super clean and hi Fi is not what I'm after.

I would have thought the tone difference quite minimal with power tubes?
