1. I've been wanting one of these for ages! Anyone know one going? Sorry to revive a thread, but at least it's not 3 years old haha!
2.
The Will Power Dimarzio is good too. More bottom and mids than a SD1/4 lb'er and more prominent in a live mix to my ears. A bit more punch without the harsh top end I found with the SD. If you like that sort of thing!
Not the thickest sounding pickup though and on it's own I've found it a little lacking for keeping the lows rumbling, though I guess a bassy amp can even that out. The model P pickup and Split P pickups are amazing too! Love all Dimarzios! The Bareknuckle pickups are the dogs bits too! And they do custom and altered winds for a fraction more or even the same price
3.
its also £120 D: cheers though
Well, if you spent that much doing up the bass, I'd personally be willing to fork out to keep it safe Cases for 6 strings are hard to find and generally pretty pricey. Best of luck though! I gave up, so bought an Ibanez case for my BTB676 there is bound to be something out there though
4. You have to include a price in your post, forum rules. Regards from another Attitude owner! (as is Andy!)
5. Ibanez MB100C case is a hard case designed for 5/6 string SR shaped basses, http://www.gak.co.uk/en/ibanez-mb100c/18316
6. I'm only 40 miles north of you give or take, Welcome!
7. When were these discontinued?
8. What was the sound like with the terror?
9. Heard it a few minutes ago, Thoughts with the family and all his friends. A real legend, will be missed!
10. I'd never pay that much for anything without playing one first, what kind of sound are you after? To me, the Bongo sounds alot like a smoother, and more versatile due to the monster EQ and cheaper Warwick, The 34" is good (I like both 34 and 35 so all good for me) but I don't really like the neck heel but thats all personal stuff, i didn't find it too heavey the few i've played. I'd say play one first though! I really enjoyed playing the HS version suited pretty much everything I threw at it! Also, why ordering one from the states? Out of curiosity,
11. Played a S/H Yamaha RBX375 and was blown away, ok not perfect but the B was a monster and it played really nicely, and sounded really powerful, great all rounder. Was only £200 as well,
12. My mum is in KL at the moment, (I'm half from the island!) Never transported an instrument on them, but always had decent service from the airline, i'd call someone and ask them directly and oraganise something in advance from experience travelling internationally! Have a good one!
13. http://www.thomann.d...retlessbass.htm £585 That is the GW35 not the GW1005 one though
14. Hartke LH, used by many in rock, soul and blues and metal! Nice powerful, not too heavy (not exactly lightweight though) and sits nicely well within your budget! The LH500 is enough for most situations but the added outputs of teh LH1000 and power if you need it is nice!
15. I like the new Laney stuff...
16. If i get this situation from a deal gone wonky sorted I'll have this the moment I do!
17.
maybe financial trouble has got the better of him, and he has no internet, or possibly worse..... If he used to post semi regular, than fraud seems to be unlikely. How much, do you mind me asking, did you give him for the pedal?
£60 I'll PM a mod, And Bigwan yeah, still got the details he gave me. Hopefully things will work out!
18. Well, I had some faith in it, considering he'd been posting semi-regularly on here. It was a striaght up bank transfer, think I'll PM a mod and ask them for any help they can give, I'd been suspicious since teh lack of the replies, by suspicuous now I mean to the point where I am going to take more action Also other BC's had delt with him before and all seemed on so I was more inclined to give benefit of the doubt
19. Is this still for sale? Tempted to bite the bullet after my exams, though delivery/re-tube would probably go out my budget
20. Starting to feel suspicious of this now, any advice?
21. These are great basses real sleepers in the world of bass, Can really thunder and roar but also sound crisp and funky!
22. Played one of these the other day but it was tuned B-C like a normal 6 string Awesome basses and really easy to play. And as a non fretless player I found it an easy way to test the water as I got more confident playing up high and fretless haha! Bumpo for a great bass!
23. Any Idea how much carriage would be? or is it out the question?
24. This is gnawing at my mind every hour! Bumpo on me!
