1. Thanks also man!
 2.
I can't answer your question but I am very glad to see your post as I have just ordered an MB200 this very afternoon for the princely sum of £206 (SoundsLive)
Just when i had convinced my self i didn't need to buy an amp (currently amp/head-less atm) you had to tell me how good this is, and how cheap!
 3.
It's a Conklin Groove Tools Bill Dickens sig model.
Awesome! Colour? When did you get it? I've always wanted one but they are so expensive even second hand these days! Plus i'd rather have an 8 string, and a 10 string...
 4.
Indeed!
Cool! What seven string is it?
You could do moffat with us probs dude! Perth also would be ace.
Can't make it this year Will try and make arrangements for next year though!
There will be a ten string at Moffat this year.
Which one will that be then? Not the six strings at a time one? Or is it the Recurve single cut?
Oh? Whats that tuned?
Assuming it's single strings (ie un doubled) then i'd "assume" F# - Eb could be C# to Bb though!
 5. Pearth could work and us Aberdeen lads could probably make it not too much bother!
 6. Throwing it out there, as for those of us who can't make Moffat and who live a little further north into scotland, Opinion of a North / Northeast scotland bass bash?
 7.
Here's the bass in question >> http://www.warwick.d...=EN&katID=24308 You can get the price off the website too, no actual shops with them online yet though, so it might be a typo... Eude
Thanks! I hope it's not a typo! Couldn't see the price but i'll take your word (as my searching skills are clearly wanting )
 8.
I agree that their high end prices have become isane, but I'm pleased to see they're producing some more affordable models. I know it looks like they've simply replaced their previous high end price point with cheaper Korean made ones, but at least they're trying to remain competetive while their German made prices are going sky high. I for one, am quite tempted by the 6 string Acoustic Alien, you can get 6 string Rockbass version for £869! Eude
Link?! The Korean warwicks are actually very very fine basses! I've always wanted a 6 string Vampyre (as much as everyone else hates the shape haha!)
 9.
Hah you coming with to collect her?
If you wouldn't mind me being there and If i can make it (depends on day and time like!) i'd be honoured
 10.
Yup! Rich is working late into the nights now. Which I'm uber thankful for! Mans a god now
What do you mean god now!? He already was in my eyes haha! I have three basses planned out already, just need money ha! Looks cracking mate i hope to see/and hear her!
 11.
Hi mate, not 100% sure about anything to be honest. It ain't state of the art but it's functional, loud, and like any other power amp, only as good as the signal source (as you can see from the pics, I used it with an Aggie and it sounded very nice indeed). As far as I know (mostly from the previous owner) it's early 80's, 150w, and was spec'd specifically for bass. Postage would be around £15 by Interparcel Cheers Chris
Thanks for the info! If my bank situation is alright and this is still here, i hope to try and have this off you in a couple of weeks!
 12. Do you have a full list of specs, and any idea how much postage would be? The manual Fitz posted doesn't cover the 9150, also do you know roughly how old this unit is? (Not looking for exact dates like just a roughy age in years)
 13. Big band, named for big instruments more than anything else, playing is all abouting locking tight as a rhythm section player, the band is laying on, and listening to you, not to the point where one slip and everything is chaos not by any means but locking tight is the key thing! Learn your parts till they are sqeaky clean then you can get more adventurous! I play Bass Trombone in two Big bands, and dep on bass for one on occasion
 14.
Blimey....more sheepsha......Aberdonians than I thought here....... Hiya anyway from a wee bit further south in, erm.....sunny Fife!
haha haven't heard 'em refered to that in a good few months
 15. We should have an Aberdeen bass-bash for those who don't make Moffat (and those who do!) There are enough of us on here now
 16. How is the Thunderverb for bass? Any soundclips of the bass just through the Thunderverb (or through both?) Either way will sound MASSIVE.
 17.
+1, I met him after a clinic once, and he was just the nicest guy - really humble and willing to chat about all kinds of crap.
Very true, i spoke to him about cooking for about twenty minutes haha!
 18.
He's always answered my emails too. Usually about signal routes and compression use! Really nice guy. Shame he's a scientologist.
No reason to judge people for what they may or may not believe, and he doesn't preach it to everyone so where is the issue? Interviews with him about it and with the bands and his friends about it have all said they don't know who or what happened but when he was in his early 20s he "signed up" and since has become the man he is today and been positive, and life loving since. I'd usually say learn the religion before you judge it, but in this case i won't. As you all full well what it is and that this country recognises it as a cult.. I'm not one of them by the way! Great guy though, went out of his way to get my Attitude neck-pickup cover signed, took a photo for me of myself and Paul Gilbert, talked to me about gear, then later at the gig i was in the front row, he saw me, and knelt down to shake my hand (again ) from the stage. Best night of my life so far. Many in the music industry could learn from the way he acts
 19.
Hi Adam, Thanks for the welcome! Good to know there are other North East loons on here! Are you in a band yourself? Cheers, Leigh
Haha that's us! I am in a handful of bands though none who have done much really! Though i've performed around the northeast on Bass Trombone, just not bass guitar haha! Hopefully be doing more soon though. Mostly heavier music for me, hard rock, metal etc
 20.
Not sure who the bass is by but I'm pretty sure that's Garry Goodman.
Ah so it is! Knew he looked familiar, that would be his Adler 12 string then! Thank you very much
 21. Hey There and Happy new year! I'm from Aberdeenshire myself too, (Out by banchory) i was out your way only yesterday! Welcome to the forum there are only a handful of us from our corner of the world but we are on here! Adam,
 22.
he usually makes the point that 90% of what he does, is holding down the bass in a band. But if I went to see a band featuring Billy Sheehan, I would be a tad disappointed if he didn't do a bass solo.
He usually does, he's always asked too and will though sometimes reluctantly! Check my avatar, got a signed What If... album aswell If i can be as humble as him succesful or not AND a shread as talented i'll feel proud of myself. Plus his solo music is awesome! There is another youtube clip from the same clinic "Thank you Billy Gibbons" worth a watch also. He always emphasises what he does comes from his tone helping hold down low end, and the ability from have grinded the basics till they are air-tight! Althought he is always labeled a shredder it's extremely rare that he'll do anything of the sort with a band. Minus maybe some of the talas stuff but that was before all the experience plus he was the did alot of music/song writing and played pretty much the lead
 23.
I'll see your and raise you a
Who is that, and who is the bass made by? (If anyone knows! Just a tad curious haha!)
 24.
if you send me your attitude for my birthday
Cheeky! haha, there are less of mine then there are of the one Karl is selling!
Oi, bugger off some of us are trying to practice Burn here
Haha sorry mate i'll pipe down BUMP on me!
 25.
does this fingerboard change the sound from original maple
Not by a huge amount, the pickups are really what defines the atttitude combined with the hunk of maple neck which is there!
I want this bass!
So do I! haha!
