I can't let the LMB-3 go for £30 as i paid £90 for it brand new (looking on google you can get one for about £70) and it has never been gigged and hardly left my pedal box. Everything on the list at the top is left! Trades anyone? apart from those already mentioned, could be tempted by a korg G5 at the right condition/price or similar other-worldly creations.....
thanks, does the LMB-3 still have orignial box and all the paper work? could you put up a pic? of the box and stuff if so then £40 i may have for you
I think you'll find any speed adjustable cordless drill will do the job nicely. - I've used an electric screwdriver before with similar results but it didnt quite spin as quick as I would like. I think the part that is more important is getting hold of the customised bit end with the pics on it. I made my own out of a 'PCB standoff' - the type that has a screw in end and a large gibson plectrum - you know, the almost equilateral triangle shaped ones. You have to be a bit clever with the playing angle - but it does work. However, I got bored of using the drill and just played the bass part with my fingers...fast ;o)
thanks dan!
Jesus they are small pictures at 160x120, about a thousand pixels short on both the dimensions, which is made worse considering the Photobucket account is set to Private and requires a password to log in.
I don't know how to change the size of the photos on here =S and my photobucket account isn't set to private, check again
That's got to be a cool bass. 20th anniversary. Now I feel really old. I remember trying one when they first came out at a Yamaha store in Central London. Being a big Billy Sheehan fan, I really wanted to like it but the neck was like a big tree chopped in half with frets added! It was way too thick for me to play. Still think they look great though
yay! thanks! lol, after playing this i LOVED the fat neck, always have you see, i played a late 60's P-bass and was plaing a 2009 in a shop today and the girl at the counter almost had a heart attack when i said it was too thin and too skinny

Hey all! My band wants to do A Daddy Brother Lover Little Boy cover at our next out door gig (a birthday in two months) we know the song but we want the drills! I know he uses old Makita drills (the old one which slowly stop, and now they stop straight away! stupid technology!) Plus we want to make some furniture for our practise garage/basement, so the drills will have two uses, three even, our drummer uses a drill to tighten and loosen things really quickly so, what does he use? I mean specifically, what is the closed thing i could use which they make now I "think" he uses one of there 7.2 volt cordless power drills Thanks guys! Adam

Recommend a strap for a killer weight bass.
http://www.darestrap.com/
had one, lasted about two months, then the button cracked =S May get another though, forgot about it i guess! Thanks! -
Hey Guys I REALLY REALLY mean killer weight i was in my local music shop, getting my bass cleaned, handed the guy the bass and he almost fell over, he wasn't ready for 17lbs Yamaha Attitude XD he took it by the neck and was very surprised Anyway, I've been using cheapo straps, £10 nylon things, and the leather ends break off or tear after about a month I regularly adjust my strap length so those comfort straps are no good, unless i get a really good one i guess, i adjust usually to shift the stress. after a two hour gig my shoulder was bleeding, not nice, the strap and friction and gravity cut my shoulder up! it was like a huge graze i have my bass around waist height, same when i sit and stand, i'm about 5ft 10" still growing though I move around a lot, i really get lost in the moment and some times its hard to find my self! Something tough, black preferably, soft on the shoulder and spreads the weight well and is easy to adjust Adam
I bought this in April last year from Sounds live. It has only been in my music room at home, and has never been gigged. I'm sure i dont have to give all the specs and details about this cab, suffice to say it is used by some of the top bands in the world. Because of the size, it will be collection only, and will consider all sensible offers.
Where are you based? what year was it made? if you can tell me, i can make an offer -
U the size of the rack case i meant how many slots does it have? how many of that rack light could you fit in it for example would you consider selling that rack light and the rack case? so not the SVT pro 3 all i'm interested in is the rack light and the Case =S since the i probably would be able tro afford the SVT 3 and the cab all as one =S
