CAB FOR SALE £50 (SOLD RH450 NOW SOLD As part of an on going clear out, up for sale is my TC Electronics RH450 and custom 1x10 cab. The Head is great and comes with the bag, foot-switch and lead. There are the usual signs of wear and tear on the amp and some marks on the bottom from sitting on the cab and one of the LED's no longer illuminates on the lo-mid control (see pic), but all in all I think good condition for a gigged amp. The gig bag has seen better days and has a split seam on one side. The split isn't a hole as the bag is double lined... Make sense??? For the driver, I selected a [color=#000000][font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=3]Neodymium[/size][/font][/color] [url="http://celestion.com/product/163/bn10300x/"]Celestion BN10-300x[/url] 300w 8 ohmdriver. (about £110). I made the cab to accommodate the amp as a 'one hand lift solution' to gigging on public transport in London. This was before Barefaced made the wonderful one10. I thought I was being ingenious using the empty space in the cab as storage. Little did I realise there was more to cab design than providing a nifty place to keep your lunch box!!! The package is good for rehearsals and low volume gigs. Bigger gigs are possible with PA support using the RH450's wonderful D.I. out and something to stick the cab on for monitoring. As part of a clear out, I am selling two 2x10 200w 8ohm cabs I made about 25 years ago with Celestion ceramic drivers. I made these in college in the early 90's as I was allowed access to the wood work room. The cabs are made from 18mm mdf and the speakers are mounted on to 18mm marine ply baffle. The ceramic drivers are Celestion G10B-100 16ohm 100w drivers. All in all these are VERY HEAVY cabs. 50ibs each - when weighed together thats 20lbs more than the barefaced 8 x 10 !!!!!! I based the dimensions on the compartments / shelves in the Ampeg 8x10, and angled the back corners to mimic the iconic Ampeg fridge. The cabs have handles and wheels, although are still a bit awkward to shift around. They do, however, stack nicely both horizontally and vertically. I used these speakers for may years and only in recent times have I replaced them with Barefaced cabs. Consequently the vinyl covering is a little tatty, but no big rips or gouges. A lot of bang for your buck!
