1. I am a bit concerned about some of the string alignment. It might effect the tone. Also...who remembers Stryper!!!! P.
2. I think the headstock shape is growing on me to be honest. I also think it looks much better horizontally than vertically. I saved one of the pics and rotated it, and IMO it isn't as bad as I first thought. No GAS here though, well not for these anyway! P.
3. http://www.rondomusic.com/product2409.html With shipping works out about £140 and you need to factor in another £20/£30 import tax. P. EDIT: Well SOMEONE had to suggest SX!

5. Go for a clear plate...yummy.
6. Don't think they are a dealer but Machinehead normally has a few in... http://machinehead.co.uk/index.php/cPath/2...0u3f73s7sphn567 P.
7. Rubbish...not the bass, the redundancy. I still have a whole series of skarbee samples on my hard drive from when I first found the Celinder website. These things sound exactly what you want and expect from a super J. P.
8. I am seriously considering one...but I am also seriously considering finding a job first! That way I won't have to consider a divorce as well!

10. This is doing it for me big time! Even though I don't like humbuckers! The plan would be to get a p pick up installed and a coil tap for the humbucker. Yummy.

Aria STB-GT5

Crap. Now I have major GAS again. And I know I hate humbuckers so if I get one I will just sell it. Paul.
14. One string too many IMHO but absolutely stunning. That's what an MTD should look like. After a brief spell owning a Kingston I am a full zero fret convert. Or I would be if any of my basses had one! Very nice. Paul.
15. I use WD-40. Paul.
16.
I've been working on my timing and I have made some progress. I've been to the link recently posted where you could test your timing across measures...
I must have missed that one and I couldn't find it with the search...anyone got the link? Ta.
17. I wish my lower horn was that big.
18. Already this is the best build diary I have seen. P.
