But ebony simply kills you: looooooooooooong sustain with precisely defined notes, great depths (without being muddy at all) and well defined heights. I'll never go for any other fretboard than ebony - and yes, I also own StingRays with maple and rosewood fretboards, so I can tell ya' Greetings, FunkyPunky

So the SR 4 H DD2 sells for 2698 EUR [url="http://www.thomann.de/de/music_man_stingray_4_3bd_dargiedelightii.htm"]link[/url] (please notice mine comes with matching headstock). I'm asking [b][i]2100[/i][/b] EUR. This means about 22% off for a limited bass that you cannot order anymore.
