I'm selling my excellent little digital drumkit as I've now bought an acoustic kit. They're in excellent condition as I look after all my gear, here's what you're getting for your £100 1x Yamaha 7 Pad Digital drumkit (fits on a snare stand) 1x Snare drum stand (which you don't get with the kit bought new) 2x foot pedals (Hi-hat and bass drum) 1x PSU and a pair of sticks! They're great for messing around on, or getting your coordination together before you go for a 'big kit' (which is what I used them for) It's also great that they don't take up much space, but you still get all the pads. They also make for a cool midi-controller if you've got nice drum sounds on your DAW. Just to be clear though, it's a fully self contained unit with loads of in built sounds with speakers or a headphone output.
Here are a few I've taken down, not all finished but enough in there.
I notice there's lots of downloads but nobody's bothered to say thanks. So - Thank you! Superb. I must contribute some transcriptions of my own...

I can heartily recommend the 'pocket changes' volumes 1 + 2, which (if you get both, with 400+ charts in each) will cover you for basically anything! Plus they are, as the name suggests, pocket sized - which is handy! 'Double Thumbing' - A word of warning... in jest.
SMV replied to SMV's topic in Theory and Technique
Wow interesting responses - I'd like to reiterate the 'in jest' part of the topic title... It's nice to get a bit of debate and opinions going though! Paul - I too find it handy when I forget my pick... or need a quick change from fingerstyle mid song (though I can't remember the last time I needed to do that!) Mike - I was indeed going hell for leather with it and I paid the price! I usually use the technique in a more restrained manner - I've found the O'jays 'money' bass line sounds sweet when I play it double thumbed as opposed to pick or fingers. Garry +1 on the palm muting. Wil +1 Larry's got the funk... I wish he'd share it more! I'm going to stick to my guns on the 'mostly' pointless though because I don't think it expands the bass vocabulary beyond music you couldn't play using more 'traditional' techniques. Discuss? -
So 'double thumbing'... Well I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up on this (dangerous?) and (mostly pointless?) technique - whilst practicing it just now I managed to blister the side of my thumb and my nail looks like I've taken sandpaper to it. All you other Wooten Wannabes be careful!!
Last chance on this one. Its really nice to play and its only an effort to get down to two basses that has made me consider selling this. Anyone interested should get in touch by end of Sunday as it will be withdrawn at this stage.
Interested in a straight trade for either of the basses I'm selling? edit - so with cash your way for the fretless or a straight swap for the Vox.
These are fantastic basses - great sounds, build quality and playability. I own a number of basses and this is the one I come back to time and time again. Awesome for the price.
+1 I love mine, they're fantastic basses. Somebody buy this before I do - mine's black and the sunburst on this looks so pretty...

I bought this with every intention of learning to play, but I've hardly played it at all so it ought to go to someone that really wants it! It's in very good condition, it's been professionally serviced (for £50!), and I've looked after it very well - in that it rarely left the case. Comes with: 8 reeds, a mixture of 1.5's and 2's. (Rico brand) Rico Neck strap Rico Mouthpiece with spare ligatures Spare (Rico) cork grease Brand new 'Odyssey' care kit (worth £20) Floor stand 'Absolute Beginners' Alto Saxophone book £150

My Bass corner, it's a happy place! I'll probably post pics of individual basses later if anyone's interested! (and maybe a more 'organised' pic of the whole collection, although... where did I put my travel bass?!) Including basses by - Fender, Tanglewood, Hohner, Vox, Peavey, Vintage...
