I have a P with a Badass 2 and one with a BBOT. The BBOT one sustains better. But there may be other factors. I think the greatest improvement, soundwise, in 'upgrading' on the original is placebo.

There may well be a different, but great, sound available from both pickups on a PJ but I haven't really found it yet.

Poncing like a tit at a gig I fell flat on my face and broke the jack off in the socket. And split my pants. Borrowed a bass from the support for the next song; the roady had taken the pickguard off my bass, removed the broken bits of plug, bolted it all together and tuned it before the end of the song. My pants remained unmended. heh heh, I said 'jack off'
