  1. The Will Power Dimarzio is good too. More bottom and mids than a SD1/4 lb'er and more prominent in a live mix to my ears. A bit more punch without the harsh top end I found with the SD. If you like that sort of thing!
  2. Laid back and super eas to deal with.....well I would say that he's one of the Clan!
  3. Pain free transaction. Nothing to see here!
  4. Got a will power pick up which was unopened! Easy transaction and good comms. Buy sell trade with confidence!
  5. I can second the quality of John's work! His approach to p/g wiring should be the industry standard though DiMarzio are doing the solder-less thing now.
  6. bump The wires on this have loads of life - it was fitte to a clever little terminal box so the haven't actually been soldered! Upgrade your bass today for little money. Comes boxed with instructions!
  7. You should try and get some sound clips up. I'd appreciate hearing this little beast at work ....bump!
  8. Bump Still willing to accept trades preferably more vintage sounding p/u. Cheers
  9. Up for grabs as we are retiring our lease on the practice room and I'll not have the space/need for this bad boy. Bought as my practice room head and has been 100% reliable. Some great tones lurking within and the ability to store them and recall then is very handy (especially as we had 3 different bassist who were constantly tweaking the amps!) Makes huge output on tap and I never struggled to be heard at gigs or rehersal. £180 and I'm happy to split postage with the buyer. Available to demo in Edinburgh before the practice room shuts! Pic's tomorrow!
  10. 1043 views and nont a nibble? Price too high, people just interested in having a look? Trade options added and don't undersell this just due to the Squier badge. I have been torn from putting the pick up from my Mike Dirnt P into this and selling the dirnt as this is such a light, well balanced bass. It oozes build quality, playability ( thanks to the slighty, and just slightly slimmer neck its not jazz by any standard but just a little refined from the usual fender P shape). The output is loud with a naturally bright tone but responds beautifully to the rewired electronics. If it doesn't shift in 2 weeks I'm gonna swap p/u's and use it for a gig at the end of March. The I'll make my mind up. Cheers for looking!
  11. Will trade for a Sterling by Musicman Ray34 or SB14 bump or if you wanna discuss trading for an actual StingRay with cash adjustment from me drop me a PM
  12. Seymour quarter pounder for sale in original box. This has been fitted in one of my p basses but I'd like to try something different. I'd trade for a Mike Dirnt (MIM) p bass pick up, the Fender CS '59 or. Bill Lawrence Wilde P-46. £45 posted to your door uk recorded delivery Thanks
  13. My two cents..... although I see you have already got yours MOTH I have tredders old one and I know he had a lot of work done on the neck and its shows. The bass plays beautifully but I understand there were some issues with the QC on these which is a shame. The neck is manly. Thin enough at the nut but meaty enought to know your note will be big and full. A big fat neck = big fat notes! As someone else said the neck feels right for the bass. Combine the big neck with a heavy, slab body and the BAII bridge and this thing has sustain for days. Once you top it off with the pick up, which isn't a regular P pick up and I do think its a CS model regardless of the what the internets say (I heard the wire was wrapped by fairies!) you have this monster tones. The tone control will get you from biting punk to classic Pump it Up or nice fat soul. I'd say these are one of the most rock solid basses out there. They are well spec'd and worth the money. The Green Day associations shouldn't detract from trying or buying one of these. I'm away to plug mine in
  14. Top quality pedal that has fallen out of favour since getting my W&C phat phuk. The pedal has two button's one for o/d one for boost. Od channel has gain level and tone, boost has volume. It comes on a custom finish and the pcb is dated 2003 so as far as I can tell its a custom finish before full production but I can't verify that just now. Pic included - it's the blood splatter effect one £100 posted uk recorded Thanks
  15. Fender custom shop '59 split coil. It's in the Mike Dirnt model and CS models. Find it, fit it, love it It'll take you places man!
  16. Another Edinburgh dweller but originally from N. Ireland Greetings!
