1. Man I'd kill for sparkly B/J........... .......oops! My coat is already in my possession!
2. I currently have two capo's and spare leads in my gig bag and I've yet to use them.......the guitarists on the other hand Haven't had to start carrying drum sticks yet though. +1 for a torch (as I'm still waiting to be bitten by a radioactive rabbit), spare batteries, patch leads.
3. There's a guy here in Edinburgh wh does valve amp repair...I'll try and find his details but thats a long way away from you.

Feedback for CS2

Bought a loop pedal. Well packaged, good comms and the pedal was as described. The price was fair too! I'd be happy to deal with Chris again and to recommend him to the wider BC community.
5. Consider it sold - pic's to follow of the receipt as requested. G
6.
Buy another one... one is ok-ish...two are in a different league, IME
I agree - Was recording over the w/e and the guys wanted to mic one cab - told them to take the mic' back a little rigged up both cabs and told them to mic somewhere in the middle. The sound was much better. These definitely work better as a pair. Kinda like boobs in that respect - one is grand and all but two! Boom!

Sold.

Never seen one of these before. Looks like a more balanced alternative to that TB sound!
8. Sent pedal ahead before payment and good to his word paid up. I'd deal with this cat again
9. Deal done. Communications we up front, well informed and concise. I was never in the dark and that basses were as described and included the worksheets proving his claims Smooth and hassle free. I think we're equally happy with how things turned out - a rare thing these days - just ask the police and the rioters! Be confident with this guy! G
10. As well as debating the pro's and con's of conservative republicaniasm (small r - very touch in N.Ireland) I bought a W&C pedal which is a gritty delight. Nice guy and even sat through the beginning of a laod in but tht may have had more to do with the aversion to heavy goods Buy from this guy! Sell yo this guy! Discuss album with this guy! Compare wedding band set lists with this guy! I have a list but I'll stop
11. You interested in any trade options? I could probably use an extra fist an octave down!
12. I've already got my coat and just about out the door!
13. Only two nightshifts left bump
14. Wren and Cuff do a range of muff derived fuzzes some specifically tweaked for bass and with blend knob to mix is a clean signal too - the Pickle Pie B is their take on the Way Huge swollen pickle/ EHX big muff. Sound demo's on the youtubes. Worth a look!
15. Bought a pedal, paid promptly and was a genuine nice bloke in any correspondence we've had. Enjoy the noisemaker
16. Bump for added fuzz pic Demeter is a very well made quality pedal. Just been used for some recording on guitar (and with the boost engaged for some bass parts) Not using the drive with bass and for boosting I just got a W&C PPB which takes up less room on my pedal board. Willing to listen to trade offers or p/x plus cash my way- Ideally I dont want to be adding cash to any deal.
17. Yam hand sold....... Interest in the fuzz and for the guys requesting pic's & video I'm on night shift until next week. Won't realistically be able to get and sound samples until then but I'll update this post when I do. Or you could take a punt if you think a monstrous facebleed fuzz would suit your needs
18. Bushy Bison sold.... The other are still up for grabs - avideo demo of the Yam Hand is on youtube - search for fulltone bass drive ernie earplugs and you should find my video - quality is reasonable but the playing "Oi Vey!"
19. I would have that ElectroniX off ya but I too shall be the proud owner of a w&c PPB in a day or two. ElectroniX make great gear bump
20. OK some stuff for sale Basically got these pedals for some recording with the band for different tones and textures for bass and guitar. Don't really do a lot of pedal hopping live so have my basic two pedal set up sorted and wont be needing such a huge array of options live. Demeter FOD: distortion and midboost pedal. Got this recently more for recording than anything else. The mid/phat switch is a great feature- kinda an 'always on' type boost can be sutble or OTT but adds nice presence to your sound. Drive is very valve like but doesn't do crazy. Both drive and boost together can really give a huge sound but not menatl fuzz/filth. Also has a two way mode switch - £102 posted UK Fuzz- modded DODGrunge pedal. This is a much more aggressive pedal than the FOD. It starts out mad and stays angry! The Grunge was always know for its huge amount of low end output and works well with bass. Stripped back finish on the casing with custom pink LED. £47 posted UK Ernie earplugs yam hand feedback regenerator: SOLD Bushy Bison: SOLD Pic's available from next week as the band are experimenting with varying combinations of these and other pedals and I don't have them to hand. Cheers!
21. Tried one of these at GG last week. I really liked the tone and felt it sounded warm with the drive up a bit. Didn't play about with heaps of settings but you can tell the flexibilty is there (I've some experience recording with the TH preamp/di). I didn't have time to A/B with anything an was playing through a DB cab with the tweeter at about 9 o'clock. Seems like a great compact package and is really too light to believe.
22. Big Al's are one of the best basses out there - I'd put the feelers out on mine a few weeks ago but only cause a USA dark star p/u bass became available but really I don't wanna shift the BA. The neck is too nice plus it really does get every sound you could want. I'm recording just now and I have tones for every possible part I need. In one song alone I have experimented with a Big old school neck pick up tone for intro and verse. It's not so much mudbucker as full bucker. Got the definition but that big warm neck pick up sound. For the chorus I switch it to p bass just to poke up in the mix a little and the same for the break section. In the odd meter proggy bit it's classic p bass and for the little lead sounding bass part I go for MM modern punch. Its not as much of a mess as I make it sound but fun experiment. Once it's all mixed down I'll try and get a clip up This is one of those basses everyone should play at some point. Totally fab! Good luck
23. Bit of a hijack but Im using a Bushy Bison woolly mammoth clone into a yam hand feedback regenerater which gives me a great fuzz plus the ability to add in the craziness from the yam hand.Ultimately its not a sound than works in context for what Im actually playing live in my main band just now but it could be someone's perfect sound. Im gonna sell it soon but if you wanna her what the yam hand can do with some volume control manipulation I can pm you a you tube link. Effectively you can 'tune in' the yam hand and get synthy tones on top of your foundation dirt sound. Great potential and super simple to use - stomp on it and tweak your volume knob slightly Like I say gonna sell tha as a set - pm for the big info. thanks g
24. MM20 How's the neck on the 5 string? Is it still quite petit or more classic mm5 string size?
