  1. We used one of these - I think the smaller version and honestly I’ve no idea why it was sold. Such a great desk - we used to record gigs direct to the laptop. geofio is a top class bloke and seller. Have total confidence
  2. U.K. only sale for now. Had interest but the taxes make it a no go for now. Sorry!
  3. U.K. buyers only fir now. Some interest from mainland Europe but taxes make it prohibitive. Sorry!
  4. Yeah I think matching the scratch plate case with the woofer is a classy touch. Still looks like a cracking bass. I do like a o to have a more substantial neck.
  5. Not many posting days left until Christmas…😀
  6. I had the bridge/neck set for sale but the bridge appears to have a fault. I’m happy to bundle the bridge unit in for free if you fancy trying to fix it but I have no idea what the issue is! P&P included in the price using recorded delivery following recent post office dramas! Cheers!
  7. I have one of these and they’re fab cabs!
  8. At rehearsal last night. The ADAM is a solid clean comp/preamp/cab sim. Having two different eqs to choose from was pretty cool too and all easily controlled via the Apple/android device.
  9. I’ll give this a go later on the stomp. Got some bass time scheduled in for this morning
  10. The Monique is such a wonderful preamp.
  11. I’d love to hear some of your tones!
  12. AO is their best circuit imo. More versatile!
  13. 😂 Not trolling just thought it would be obvious without the gadgets. Clearly batteries are a sensitive issue!
  14. I think you’re maybe missing the point again (on purpose) of why someone would choose one of these new DG pedals but I get you have all you need in the AO amp. It’s a nice unit.
  15. wouldn’t it have been obvious once you plugged it in without measuring the voltage of the battery?
  16. That's kinda how Dingwall wire up a number of their basses.
  17. If you simply wish to become more proficient with the technique then play every sucker you can until it feels natural
  18. What preamp did you go for in that carvin bass you had and how is ot working out? You had been talking about an East pre from waaaay back and again for that one IIRC?
  19. It does sound good! The compression on the Adam and by virtue this is very easily managed and Gregor is correct. It can feel like it’s adding in more lows but as with compression in general an understanding of how it works helps.
  20. If someone was after the head and cab as pictured I the first snap I could look at a wee deal. Shipping would could be split with the buyer to sweeten the deal. I’ve just been off to the recycling centre but have kept some packaging back. #Optimism
  21. This thing loves a decent overdrive in front. It’s been lapping up a few of my drives recently. B3K, the Fender Trapper and my Spark boost are all glorious partners to the flexible eq.
  22. I just like the Bigman 🙂
  23. Or to go one step further with something like the Nordstrand Bigman with the option to split the humbucker coils into ‘bridge’ or ‘neck’ then add series and parallel and a passive option. Then you really push the full potential of a one pick up bass
  24. Amos Heller is the go to guy for DG reviews. His cover so much more ground than the standard fare.
