You could add it in via the fx loop and then drop it in anywhere along the signal chain. I’ve been tweaking my board as I wanted to add a boost and toyed with the fx loop but settles on having it after the Stomp but before my amp but I’m quite likely using it in a different manner to how you wish to integrate the preamp. If you do try it via the fx loop remember to save the patch with the fx loop switch engaged so it’s always on when you switch to that patch!

Nate with another great demo and solid information too. Well explained section about the HPF. EQ points look decent - love a treble control that is in and about 2-4kHz

Thanks Rich 🙂 Yeah It's a wonderful wee unit and it stands on it's own as a very capable sounding cab. I might be taking it to my gig on Friday just to get it out even though there is a sub in the place and we'll likely be using IEM. I've rejigged my pedal board slightly so it'll be good to hear what it sounds like in a familiar room/on stage.

Sold It’s a compact, sturdy cab which has seen moderate use and comes with a fitted db Bass cover. If I could find another one of these used I might just keep it and sell my 212 but for now it’s up for grabs. I just prefer two of a specific cab over a single- in this case it’s 2x12’s over a 112 if stage size isn't an issue. However I do think that two of these cabs as a modular set up would be killer! Ideally I’d like to meet up and do a cash deal and I’m happy to drive a couple of hours any direction from Edinburgh. Most of my gigs are iem these days so two cabs isn’t really necessary as the other main venues we do which aren’t iem have back line provided. Spec's below along with links to a review and the db website. Please note the cab with the white internal baffle is only to show the speaker and port - it is not my cab and is simply for illustrative purposes. Specifications Impedance:8 Ohms Speaker: 1 x 12” FaitalPRO Bass Port: Front Tweeter: Piezo with attenuatorPower: 600 Inputs: 2 x Neutrik Speakon (parallel) Sensitivity: (1W/1m) 97 dB Frequency Range: 45 - 30,000 Hz Height: 45 cm - 17.72” Width: 37 cm - 14.57” Depth: 45 cm - 17.72” Weight: 17 kg - 37.48 lbs Thankfully my cab has the black internal baffle rather than the white! I’d love to hear someone set a compression pedal to ‘rip your face off’ mode! No I was meaning that in the context of how a drive pedal, much like any other, can be set to be subtle or OTT - chorus, comp, reverb etc.
-
Yeah I don’t think he’s going for a dead on cop of the tone- it a nice tone (but also needs extra pedals).

The Knife ‘Heartbeats’ tone in the EHX official demo is a great sound right at the end. The mono sounds like a fun pedal!

Cheers I’ve been going to these rehearsals trying to work with the keys player on what parts we’ll play and he’s very happy to leave the bass parts to me. I think I’ve basically avoided the ‘need’ for a synth but the Mono might give a couple of usable options. We’re kinda in agreement now after a couple of rehearsals that the bass guitar should sound like a bass guitar and let the keys player do all other ‘on synths’ stuff. Something about having a real bass tone makes it feel a bit more locked in with the drums and feel more organic, like a live band. It’s still a very new thing so it’ll evolve over time but this appears to be working well. I think the couple of synth tones I have on the stomp might actually work?🤭 We’re trying the more synth heavy ones on Monday night so we shall see! The beauty of presets!
