  1. Pic's as promised!
  2. Compact, pedal board friendly power amp. I've tried this with various pre amps and it's got a great responsive feel. Slaps and pop's are quick and immediate and it holds it's own well. Pairs really nicely with my Aguilar Tone Hammer DI. This 'mini rig' is vastly lighter than my main gigging amps, the Baby Sumo is only 1.5kg and nestles comfortably on my Pedal Train Jr board. I can imagine paired to a Helix Stomp and a 110 or 112 for the ultimate mini rig where manageable stage volume and tight space is real concern or one simply needs compact and easy to transport gear. The Baby Sumo comes with its own branded carry case and the price includes next day UK shipping. Spec sheet is below and lifted from the GSS website. Pic's to follow Taken from the GSS website... Black steel and aluminium (front and back panels) enclosure. Laser printed front and back panels. Inputs/outputs and controls : 1/4" (6,35mm) input jack connector on the front panel. Neutrik Speakon loudspeaker output connector on the back panel. One on/off power switch. Massive pure aluminium volume control. Dimensions: 5.2 x 3.2 x 8 inches / 13 x 8 x 20 centimeters (Width x Height x Depth) Weight: 3.3 Lbs (1,5 Kg) Technical data: Power: 600 Watts over 4 Ohms; 300 Watts over 8 Ohms; 150 Watts over 16 Ohms. THD (at full power): < 0,1 % Input impedance: 10 K Ohms Power voltage: 180-264 Volts ac Frequency response (-1dB): 20-20000 Hz
  3. Pleasure doing business. No qualms and would happily buy from Mike again.
  4. Some punters do need to be told. A few funny phrases is often enough to settle any boisterous punters at out gigs but we do get the occasional idiot who decided to stage invade or film us on their phones with full glaring led lights blinding us. The look of indignation on some folks faces when you ask them to stop blinding you is quite funny. On one or two occasions I've managed to turn their phone around on them and have them understand why we're not reveling in the moment! They quickly desist!
  5. That's ridiculous!
  6. My point exactly!
  7. A bit dramatic no? If the rest of the band 'need' to take gigs which are three hours away and you don't and there's a dep willing then that's cool.Win win as someone said. Not everyone can do every gig and if it's circumstance (working/holidays/ not worth the 10 hours for a two hour gig on a Tuesday then I'd not worry.
  8. In what sense?
  9. @Al Krow you didn’t build it 🤣🤣 but it’s good to see the new owner is enjoying it.
  10. There’s reports of a JMJ Mustang coming out in black before the end of the year. It’ll be a road worn model I’d expect.
  11. Kamasi Washington’s bassist Miles Mosley can only be described as playing Uprighteous bass! Testify!
  12. That's some great customer service!
  13. As @Cuzzie points out it is indeed a Lull TBird pick up. It’s not apparent but has been mentioned earlier in this thread that it has a Tone Styler Bass10 fitted too which makes the whole thing quite versatile and can be heard here if you’re interested!
  14. It's a fine example of what the Sandberg guys can do - many dislike it but if it's your thing this has got to be up there!
  15. If you’re back up near Edinburgh gimme a shout as I’d love this cab especially for the country gig
  16. I tried the fender. It is a decent unit but I’ve no experience of the tc. I don’t think I’d buy the fender comparing it to my current eq, drive and comp albeit they cost a whole lot more as individual pedals than the standalone fender. I could happily gig the fender but wouldn’t replace my current pedal board with it.
  17. So no noticeable differences yet keep us posted 😀
  18. Any gig report yet and what have you found better or different about the AO over the original. You’ve mentioned some comparisons above but no solid opinions yet. You were using the MkI drive occasionally live right?
  19. The stomp really can do whatever you need it to and for that Line 6 deserve much credit.
  20. It’s all about what we can bring to the party 😀
  21. I was in a band and the guitarist was a classically trained muso, had a degree in music and had studied further as a sound designer. Pretty much learned all I know from that woman. She was such a trove of knowledge and a great resource.
  22. No stomp here! I pretty much tried the stomp out in a range of settings and it is indeed a very capable unit. I just found that live I like to have an amp and cab on stage. The drummer and I both felt the in ears gigs lacked something so it’s earplugs and full rig live for me. My fx needs are somewhat minimal on a gig so the stomp was over kill as the effect I use I already have on my pb.
