Look like Gotoh (or copies) to me, can`t you buy them new from axerus etc?
yeah i think they're copies or unbranded gotoh GB7 tuners (but don't quote me on that), i was just hoping to avoid buying a set just to replace a washer! i'll have a scout around and see if i can buy single tuners

on a bass i bought recently it looks like the previous owner has tightened the screws on the machineheads to the point its mangled the plastic washer. i could've re-used the metal one but i lost it when i took them off to take these pictures; so, don't suppose anyone has any old broken tuners with these on?

not actually sure about how to work out the 'pro' series serial number but they're definitly a post gibson takeover line of basses. they're fairly recent, early to mid 2000's (i think i bought mine in 2003?), made in korea to the gibson/tobias design, sold through a company called musicyo for a few years then they disapeared! i've owned a couple, still own one that i really like.

i haven't played this since i bought my double bass so time to move it on me thinks. i 'upgraded' the tuners (schaller) and strings (kevlar core weedwackers) and also comes with case & stand plus original tuners & strings its in good condition, a few marks here and there, only thing of note really though is the paint chip pictured below: i didn't really get on with the stock strings so i bought some green weedwackers from america: but struggled to get them to stay put on the standard stagg tuners so i upgraded to schaller... however the posts on the schallers were longer so i added bits of black plastic to the sides of the headstock, looks a little untidy close up but does the job: also whilst messing with the stings i managed to cut one a little short so i tied a bit of guitar string to it for the 1st couple of winds. must've worked cuz its stayed put for a couple of years with no issues: so there ya have it. i'd like £250 for it or i'm always open to trade offers/part exchange. only things i can think of right now though are: Boshcma 4u Rack case Tech 21 XXL bass or guitar version Schatten RB1 pickup so any of that added to the deal can help bring the price down. PM me with any trade offers/questions or if you need any pictures of anything specific

i've almost listed this a couple of times but bottled it and i'm still not sure i wanna do this but its not getting used as much as it should so here goes! trade offers only at the moment as i wanna see what else is around... apologies for the tentative nature of the thread, the thing is i really like this bass, the graphite neck is a joy to play and the 18v electronics sound incredible but... its just not me! i can't see me ever using it live and it seems stupid to have it sat in its case. also sorry for the vagueness of trade details but there's not really anything i'm currently after (apart from a semi-acoustic guitar) so i'm open to ideas really. comes in a hardcase, which looks like this: condition wise its good but not great, its been played alot and has a few bits of damage here and there, although its more worn than battered, the body's pretty spotless but the gold on the bridge and saddles has worn through in places, see pics: the neck has a bit of buckle rash (!) on the back and a couple of chips on the end of the... er... stump?! (what's the end of a headless bass neck called?) anyway more pics to stop the rambling: so... whatcha got?
