i'm thinking of downsizing my board and selling stuff i don't use off so the 1st thing to go is the feedback loop half of this pedal! its a 'Barge Concepts VFB-2 Variable Feedback / Bypass Looper' and i never use the feedback loop so i was wondering if anyone was up for a swap for a Vb-Jr? only pic i have of it at the moment is the shot of my board (its the pedal on the bottom left)

Finally got round to bringing this home from the practice room and took some photos of it: EBS Multicomp - Digitech bass Synth Wah (used for octaver only) - Dunlop 105Q wah - Fulltone bass drive - Sansamp VT bass - Carbon Copy - Nano Small Stone Phaser - Barge Concepts Blend/Loop box i made the pedal board myself and being that i'm no carpenter (and most things i do turn out looking like they were assembled in the dark) i'm actually really chuffed with how it turned out. Couple of nice touces (i think!) are the raised back of the board so it angles towards me and i can slide my mic stand underneath and the riser that the Phaser and Delay are on... that way the leads going to and from the Loop box pass underneath and it saves space. Raised Back: Raised Platform: however! just been in the studio recording a bunch of songs i had rehearsed with this board and i only ended up using the VT, Fulltone and blend! everything else just seemed unnecessary once i had a good sound going... ah well it was fun puting it together!

yeah i've been waiting for the right natural finish one, its all about the wood grain! i have a T-15 guitar and the wood grain is stunning, just need to find a T40 thats similarly gorgeous!
-
cheapest i've seen was a fairly battered natural one, on here i think... that was £250 but yeah they can fetch alot more depending on how rare the finish is... tough to gauge an average price when there aren't really many for sale, in the UK anyway
Can anyone recommend a decent strap that can handle the T-40s weight?
i use these the bass ones are very wide and well padded...

Jerry doesn't seem to have a feedback thread here yet so i'll start it off... Jerry just bought a T40 off me in what was a very easy and pleasant transaction, i'd have no problem in dealing with him again. thanks!
You mentioned in the original post about trading + cash for a guitar. I have a '97 Heritage H150CM with vintage Gibson pickups (1 patent number, 1 T top) that I'd trade but I'd want about £450 on top. Also you're in Plymouth and I'm in Oxfordshire, and I'd much prefer we could try each other's gear before trading.
thanks for the offer but i've just bought a les paul which should cover my six string needs for now so this is up for sale at £350 -
That white t-40 is gooooooooorgeous. Who am i kidding? they're ALL gorgeous.
hell yeah! join us... join us!
-
my thoughts exactly... beat you too it! can't decide though, would it be better if the white t40 had a rosewood neck for extra 'opposites' appeal?
-
i do, i do! i have another black one as well but that'll more than likely go as soon as i find something to trade it for...
-
New One! got a bit of a yin-yang thing going on now!
EDIT: matt (kingforaday) has got intouch to say that he fancies this bass and would be willing to swap his black t-40 for it. essentially what this means is that you can buy EITHER the black one or the maple one for the £350 posted, if u buy mine then business as usual, if u want matt's then he'll send it to you, you send money to me, i send my bass to matt. clear as mud?!!!
do you know what? i think that actually makes sense! nice one!
-
thanks flateric, chris messaged me earlier, i'll have to pass on this one this time round though, just aquired a white one and should probably shift one of my black ones before thinking about adding another! good luck with the sale, great bass and a good price i reckon especially considering you very rarely find them with rosewood fretboards

stevie has just helped me out with a bass for my sister, really good deal all round and a great bass she's very happy with thanks!
