2. BUMP! added rough prices to the remaining items, i'm still very much open to trade offers for pedals etc, have updated the 1st post with what i'm after but anything considered just PM me. thanks
 3. BUMP! now that the other one that was on here has sold on ebay i've put a price on this one (£65 ono delivered or trade offers) just didn't want to undercut anyone and screw up their potential sales kingforaday playing by the rules since '09
 4. just before i posted this to shaun i tried it out with my squier VMJ and my god it really made it come alive, would reccomend it to anyone wanting to beef up the sound/add a bit of variety to a passive bass i'm tempted to buy it back but i'm not really using the VMJ that much and i've got a massive list of things to buy as it is! good luck with the sale mate
 5. just part exchanged a pedal with warpig, he payed the money fast and sent the pedal quick and well packaged thanks mate!
 6. JIM DUNLOP 105Q bass Wah trade wise i'm looking for a VT bass with cash going your way PM me with anything you've got and i'll let you know. failing that PM me with offers of the cold hard cash kind around the £65 posted mark seems fair judging by what they normaly go for, i'm gonna need some cash for some patch cables from OBBM! cheers all! matt
 7. Shaun, Jamie and theo your packages are on their way! if you can drop me a line when they arrive that'd be great and i'll let you know when the pedals you're sending get here safe and sound cheers matt
 8.
Prices would be helpful!
or maybe not... Schallers and Ken Smith EQ sold pending usual! didn't put prices as i was hoping for trades for interesting pedals etc but if there's anything of interest to you and you don't have anything for trade PM me and i'll try and work out a fair price, alot of its down to lazyness on my part to be honest in terms of checking current secondhand prices etc
 9. gotta have a bit of a clear out as i've got so much stuff i've bought with good intentions for various projects that never quite got realised and i'm now looking to get together a good pedal board for the band i've just started so thats taking top priority right now. 1st lot of stuff - EMG 40P Pickups one still in wrapping £60 (Inc postage) or trade offers... looks like this: not sure where that pink light is coming from the other one i removed the wrapping cuz it was scratched and i wanted to see if it had gone through to the pickup, it had but its not too bad, £55 (Inc postage) or trade offers... heres the best i could get that to show up: ***SOLD***KEN SMITH EQ in a box! ***SOLD***SCHALLER BML tuners ***EDIT!*** got a sanamp VT now so trade wise i'm now looking for a Nano Small Stone and an EBS Unichorus... PM me with anything you've got and i'll let you know. failing that PM me with offers of the cold hard cash kind, i'm gonna need some cash for some patch cables from OBBM! cheers all! matt
 10.
I think the Schaller BML series tuners fit, though they're not cheap these days – were £40 ish about a year ago and Allparts are now wanting over £80 for a set.
think i have a set of these somewhere, bought them for my VMJ but they're not long enough to fit without drilling new holes... i'll have a look and let you know ----edit---- found 'em, pictures here
 11. yeah don't worry, it happens from time to time... are you in a band? if you're not, start one, if you are maybe start something different on the side? when the band i'd been in for years folded i pretty much didn't play for about a year and a half and i had no desire to. but now i've started a new band its got me all excited about playing again, and of course its got me gassing for (and buying!) new equipment!
 12.
If anyone has a 40J, 40CS or 40P5 that they want to trade for a 40DC just let me know. Marc
PM'd
 13. try this i've used it and it worked out pretty well for me, gets pretty good reviews from others online too
 14.
If anyone knows this guy ask him to send my pedals or at least log on and reply to my PM T
"i wont be able to ship the pedal until 2nd Feb as i am away on a tour but will post it off as soon as i get back" is what i was told when i bought one off him, suprised he didn't mention it to you, anyways there's your answer!
 15.
I usually check the thing first then play the intro to Journey to the End of East Bay - Rancid, it uses all the strings with a pick (the way I play) there is a chord, pull offs, hammer ons and it goes up and down the neck. Goes like if you fancy a go, it's fun to play.
ah great memories! pretty much every young punk band i've ever been on the same bill as or seen play live, the bassist always seems to soundcheck with that one! i used to always follow it by playing the solo in maxwell murder (or something resembling it), but i've grown up (a little bit...) since then and now realise that showing off and trying to upstage 14 year old kids who are just starting out isn't cool!
 16.
Have you not seen the T-40 dangerboy has for sale ? [topic="35685"]Peavey[/topic]
yep, and quite possibly just bought it! really need to stop buying things... i hate this forum
 17.
Copyright the two-tone yin yang pickguard!
+1 thats a really nice touch
 18.
Personally I'd finish it off with some Jazz knobs but thats just me.
+1 i'm gonna get some for the VMJ i bought off gafbass just to complete the look. these basses really are as good as everyone says! well impressed. trouble is its got me thinking of further mods (mine came with a badass) and i'm also looking at getting the VMP and modding that too! bank balance permitting of course be interested to hear the difference to yours with the new pups to see if its worth looking into a pup upgrade on mine, though as you said Doc B, the duncan design pups sound really good!
 19.
i've done some trading and buying from eubassix in the past and he is a top class seller. deal with 100% confidence
+1 to that, just bought an armoured guitar cable from david for a good price, it was packed up well and delivered quickly. nice one,
 20. bought a squier VMJ from gafbass, kept me in the know all the way, and packed the bass more securely than any i've had sent before. nice one!
