How about a Passive PRS SE Kestrel in black with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders? Not as slim as a Jazz profile but still a very playable neck
You see, that's what I like about trade offers... I'd never heard of these! Just looked it up and I don't think it's for me but thanks for the offer

Bump - anymore trade offers? I've realised from the basses people have offered that I have incredibly boring/conventional tastes - only really interested in black, white or natural finishes, 4 string only, passive, definitely not a jazz neck profile (too skinny) - other than that lengthy list of criteria, I'm open to offers!

Spike bought a wooly mammoth clone from me, easy pleasant transaction and quick payment. I would happily sell to/buy from again
Would you have any interest in a Sterling by Musicman Ray34 (not a sub), with a bit of cash your way? Sorry but the pics I currently have of the bass aren't great as the flash makes everything look scratchy. Don't have this bass at home currently but if you are interested I will get some better shots taken. Cheers
PM'd

Last of my fuzz pedals (I think?!) [s]Wooly Mammoth Clone - £45 posted. Trades/offers welcome[/s] It's in good condition and works really well, I've never tried it with an active bass but I presume it struggles with them like an actual Wooly Mammoth does... That's what I've read on here anyway (passing it off as my own 'knowledge') I recorded a soundclip of it but can't seem to figure out how I would go about uploading such a thing - If you want to hear it drop me a PM with your email address and I'll send it over. Also as it's a clone I opened it to take a pic of it's guts and discovered no room/connection for a battery so it's 9v power supply or nothing - not sure if that too is cloned from the Zvex?
Managed to cut the collection down to a manageable level, but even though the GAS is almost gone, I still manage to acquire stuff. Even 'manageable' means having a backup.
Same for me, I've cut down a fair bit over the last couple of years as I no longer play bass in a band (I'm more of a drummer these days) and even though there's almost nothing I actually want... I still end u buying things every now and then. It's an illness I tell thee

Figured I'd best start one of these for Sabs4001 as he doesn't have one here yet... I just sold my Zvex Mastotron to him, quick payment, good quick communication etc and no hassle whatsoever. I'd be more than happy to deal with Matt again and hopefully will at some point

Yes! Great band and any thread that prompts me to listen to this: https://www.youtube....h?v=2zjW-Rut51o is alright by me

I bought this on here a little while ago, with the intention of getting my amp tech to get it up and running. I put it on his bench and he said "is that a Markbass? Yeah, I'm not touching that" - So it's not gonna happen! He doesn't want to work with the 'switching power supply' - which he thinks is more than likely the problem (I can't guarantee that it is but that's his best educated guess without going any further). It doesn't power on and makes a faint kind of 'ticking' sound when you attempt to power it up According to him, these are rarely 'repaired' as more often than not, the whole board inside is just replaced. I got a quote from another local company to replace the board at £190! I also contacted the official Markbass service guys (real electronics) who quoted less but obviously I've got to ship it back and forth so it'll be about the same all in anyway. So I thought in the meantime while I have a think about that, I'll offer it up here in case any of you need some spares for yours... or know your way around a Markbass LM2 and want to have a crack at repairing it. I'll post some pics later - but it's in generally well used condition
I just bought the dolphin grey model from a selling in Japan for about £400, but it would appear it has gone missing in transit :-( Still waiting to hear the final conclusion on its status from the seller in Japan, but if both he and Parcelforce aren't able to find it and declare it well and truly "gone", I'll get a full refund and take this one from you, and I greatly prefer this colour (and the black) anyway
Ah man, that sucks! I really hope you manage to get your money back on that, what a nightmare!
Try Lee650 who has posted in the Wanted forum, looking for a cheap, small synthy fuzz. This would be ideal I reckon.
Cheers, I've bought something from him recently actually so maybe he will return the favour! Thanks for the heads up, I'll drop him a line now
