1. I recently purchased an Epifani Cab from the Gallery in London It was the 310 UL model Great cab and as usual Alex organized a swift delivery However due to the rough handling of the courier company the plastic protective corners at the bottom corners of the amp arrived broken. They were still screwed in place but they were cracked and falling apart. So just for the hell of it I decided to write to Epifani and let them know what had happened on the off chance that they may have some spares which they would be willing to send on to me. Within 12 hours of me sending the email I had a reply from the man himself Joe Epifani telling me he was sorry for the damage and that he would dispatch a new set of corners. He also thanked me for buying one of his cabs and asked me about Ireland and the music scene etc. The corners never arrived and I figured that this guy was just too busy running a company to have remembered such a small thing. However, I decided to pop him another mail and let him now the situation. He again responded almost immediately and said he had plum forgotten to send them and that before mailing me back he had actually gone to the post office himself and posted them. He asked me to let him know when they arrived Well they arrived safe and sound yesterday. A man true to his word I mailed him to thank him and again he replied thanking me for the business and offering to be of assistance if I ever needed anything This guy is the head of one of the best bass amp companies out there yet he still went out of his way for some plastic corners I am well impressed

9. THIS BASS IS NOW SOLD!
10. Thank you kind sir
11. Any love for Lakland at all out there Trust me this is about as nice a Precision as one can get. It feels pre CBS, great weight, flat fast neck and an amazing sound from those Lindy Fraklin pick ups.
12. Up you go
13. Thanks, yes as you say cert and serial number match up. The neck also has some nice tiger flame in the maple, particularly up towards the nut. Tuners are reverse, and despite their relic'd appearance, they are perfectly smooth.
14. I have a custom shop jazz, same colour Interested?
15. I need to double check but I thing the year of manufacture is actually 2007
16. The cert reads 1960 Jazz Bass I know that stack knobs were usually the norm for this period but the custom shop produced this particular model with the normal vol vol tone controls.
17. Hi Up for grabs is my 1960 Custom Shop Jazz Bass from Fender The bass is a relic model. Its a beautiful instrument with great checking on the finish (difficult to capture on camera) The neck also has a little bit of flame on the maple finish which looks great. Neck is lovely and smooth with low fast action The bass is in perfect condition, all marks were placed there by the experts at the Fender Custom Shop Its a rare bass as very few were made in this colour. I have the Custom Shop Cert, cable and all tags for the bass. I dont have the original case but it will be supplied with a fitted flight case (by which I mean a foam fitted case with butterfly clips, metal corners and metal edging etc - think big touring acts) Thanks
18. This Bass is now available at Bassgear in Reading Thanks Sale has fallen through so this is back up for sale. This bass was a custom order from Lakland a few years ago. Its candy apple red but with a special order matching headstock and drop d tuner The neck feels like a pre CBS Bass is light Pickups sound amazing and the action is low but buzz free Condition wise the bass is in good condition, normal playing wear. There are three small marks on the bass (one on the headstock and one on the edge of the fingerboard below the G string (doesnt effect playing) and one on the upper bout, both of which are difficult to capture by photo due to their small size) White Lakland hardshell case included also Trades I would consider : (4 string only)

Lakland Joe Osbourne
Nordstrand
Sadowsky
Celinder
Alleva Coppolo
Zon
Alembic
F Bass
Vintage Fenders
Thanks
19. Thanks for your response I have a back issue so Im going to hold out for something a little more towards the 8.5lb mark (hard to get i know) Your price is very low for a Custom shop in such condition so I wont imagine you will have to wait too long to sell it. All the best Paul
20. Hi I just have a few questions on your bass : 1. What is the weight? 2. Do you have the original Tolex Case? 3. Is the neck nice and straight, is there lots of tension still available from the truss rod if required? Thanks Paul
21. Hi Clarky This bass was originally purchased by myself new from a store in Dublin. I had Chris Larkin fit the fret markers after some piercing stares from my bandmates as I flustered around the original unmarked fretless board. It really is a cracking bass and sounds as an upright should. Built quality is amazing. Good luck to the new owner
