  1. This design and colour just supercool! How is the Sadowsky jazz sound when switched to single coil in the bridge pu?
  2. Looks like the pickup is in the right spot. I assume it does that growly Stingray sound and these necks are superb! I tried a Kingston Z5 and it had one of the tightest low B.
  3. I tried a DW Spector back in late 2000's and still the best neck I have ever played. Super cool bass GLWS
  4. So annoying isn't it? Nut width and string spacing should be specified in a straightforward way. How can you gain trust when they keep contradicting?
  5. Oh yes. Looks better now...
  6. Sire headstock basically looks like grandpas socks pulled on a fence, and that Z7 Stingray lower horn is a lump..... Yet, they nailed the Stingray tone and Sire offers the HS version with 12" radius and stainless steel frets for around £600...I want one
  7. Absolute bargain! I wish these were a direct replacement on my CS.
  8. These Yamaha cabs sound terribly good and Krysbass is a top guy to deal with.
  9. Yes but the point is they offer these extras at much lower price level
  10. Worth mentioning that these have stainless steel frets like the US Music Man basses and unlike Ernie Ball, Sire produces the HS configuration.
  11. Hi All, As it says, Jim Dunlop Super Bright 45/125 Stainless Steel NEW/Unopened strings for sale £40 posted. Thanks, Best, Hoff
  12. I played DJ5s a few times and if you like the jazz sound and feel this is an absolute deal. The neck is rock solid with graphite bars in them.
  13. I remember back in the 2000s when first tried these at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt. I was totally blown away by the quality and playability. especially when I compared these to the Fender American Vintage 75 jazz. Fenders were overpriced with crap setup and some QC faults, but Bacchus basses were impeccable. This money is a steal for a high-end jazz. GLWTS
  14. You can easily have these modified with upgraded electronics. I bet an East or Aguilar pre with a parallel/ series switch on the chrome plate this would be a tone monster.
