    So..Sire

These https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224343815825 They are not a direct replacement, for each tuner you have to drill one new screwhole and fill the four old ones. But it's not a big deal, and more than worthwhile. This is how mine ended up.
  2. TBH if you'd asked me how much it weighed, I'd have said rather more than 155lbs. When you consider an SVT810 weighs 165 (or 140, depending on who you believe!), that's actually quite a lightweight. It must sound a bit like god clearing his throat.

  5. Do you rely on a good interference-fit to keep the ferrules in place, or do you glue them in?
  6. Oh yes, I'd definitely take either, but I've always liked LPB and I have to say that looks particularly good. I certainly wouldn't feel short-changed with the natural one.

  9. Quick word of warning. When asked the question, "Why have you got so many basses? You can only play one at a time", do NOT under ANY circumstances be tempted to reply along the lines of "well you've got loads of skirts, but you can only squeeze your árse into one at a time". I, errm, have a friend who tried this and the result was very painful. He says.
  10. My laptop sits in a docking station, which gives me extra USB sockets, twin monitor connections, and (fanfare) an ethernet socket. It's the ideal solution for me, as it means I don't have to unplug anything when I bring my laptop out of my office space.
  11. There was an Epi non-Pro Bird with Babicz bridge on my local FB marktplatz page for 180ish quid the other day. Thankfully it's gone now and no longer torturing me.
  12. Sad day. Lost a dearly loved ex-colleague to cancer this morning.
