  1. Having participated in a couple of Open Micsolate collaborations earlier in the year, neither of which were as ambitious as that, I can't see the problem. Edit: I did type out a big long reply, but having read it through I'm just leaving this bit as I just ended up sounding cross. Rampant negativity does that to me.
  2. Smash It Up - The Damned
  3. As a musician with a beard, I'm just going to point at this and laugh derisively.
  4. The Most Boring Song in the World - Canadian Studmuffin
  5. Take Me With U - Prince
  6. Hippy Hippy Shake - Beatles, The Swinging Blue Jeans, etc
  7. Yes, and that's a cracking version too! B-side of Big Wedge if memory serves?
  8. Is Vic There? - Department S
  9. In truth this is the isolated vocal tracks, rather than an actual acapella version per se. Not necessarily the greatest individual voices in the world, but the harmonies and arrangement are just gorgeous.
  10. Ring Ring - Abba
  11. Out in the Fields - Gary Moore/Phil Lynott
  12. The Bells of St. Mary's - Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman
  13. Good grief. They may as well add "Showboaters only, groove/pocket players need not apply".
  14. Another favourite female voice.
  15. Ten Green Bottles - trad
  16. Heart of the Sunrise - Oui
  17. New York State of Mind - Billy Joel
  18. The Dream of the Blue Turtles - Sting
  19. King for a Day - Jamiroquai
  20. And my favourite male voice.
  21. IMO, the finest female voice ever to have graced the planet. Absolutely peerless and such a sad demise.
  22. You're So Vain - Carly Simon
