    Oh the poor thing. I can hear its cries of pain from here. Somebody please give it some TLC. The electrics are like hens' teeth and yes the knobs are a ridiculous price. I've given up looking for some for mine, pretty much resigned to the fact that it'll never be a proper restoration. That'd be the best course of action for this one too.

    I suspect gigs might be a little thinner on the ground out here in the sticks. That notwithstanding, it's not for want of trying that we are unable to find suitable dates, although it doesn't help when one of your band members is at-risk themselves and another has a wife who is. We haven't just been sitting on our thumbs waiting for them to drift in -- our gig-getting members are experienced enough in this lark to know how to go about working with suitable venues. They just aren't there.

    SOLD - Tuners from Sire V7 They weren't on it for long, so they're in excellent condition. I've serviced them and given them a light greasing, and put a wee dab of threadlock on the screw so the cog shouldn't loosen itself. Complete with brand new fixing screws (which will be arriving in the mail any day now) and ferrules to fit 18mm peghead holes. Reversible if you need 2+2 / 3+1 / lefty. Weight approx. 80-85g each. £12 posted.
