My mate managed to introduce an entire new drum kit into the house by simply ensuring it was the same colour as the old one.

Ooh bugger. hope it gets fully sorted soon and the antibios do their job. My wrist is going well ta, had a 2 hour ska rehearsal the other night which was mostly good, although octave riffs are still painful. I paid for it next day, mind

Is it any good for metal? Does it play like butter?

Hotel hobbies padding dawn's hollow corridors, Bell-boys checking out the hookers in the bar Slug-like fingers trace the star-spangled clouds of cocaine on the mirror, The short straw took its bow. The tell-tale tocking of the last cigarette, Marking time in the packet as the whisky sweat Lies like discarded armour on an unmade bed, And a familiar craving is crawling in his head And the only sign of life is the ticking of the pen, Introducing characters to memories like old friends Frantic as a cardiograph scratching out the lines, A fever of confession, a catalogue of crime In happy hour Do you cry in happy hour? Do you hide in happy hour? The pilgrimage to happy hour New shadows tugging at the corner of his eye, jostling for attention As the sunlight flares through a curtains tear, Shuffling its beams as if in nervous anticipation Of another day 'Hotel Hobbies', Marillion from the Clutching At Straws album, IMO their finest hour

On the National Express there's a jolly hostess selling crisps and tea She'll provide you with drinks and theatrical winks for a sky-high fee Mini-skirts were in style when she danced down the aisle back in '63 But it's hard to get by when your árse is the size of a small country

They shoot without shame, in the name of a piece of dirt For a change of accent, or the colour of your shirt Better the pride that resides in a citizen of the world, Than the pride that divides when a colourful rag is unfurled. 'Territories', Rush

Hey Jude has Paul McCartney audibly saying "Whoa! F**kin 'ell", after hitting a bum note. (2:56)

I definitely don't have them, alas.

Those are definitely two things to ask at the interview when inevitably asked "do you have any questions?". I am told that these days, an applicant can succeed or fail on the basis of what they say at this point -- saying "errm, not really no" is the kiss of death.

If I was arranging them, they'd be 'Noodles, Pot' and would sit between Noodles, Egg and Noodles, Rice. Yes, it's precisely the sort of thing I would do because I too am that anal

Films where music artistes/songs are dissed

This will never be true of anything that has Michael McDonald singing on it. -
I was gonna ask how much it weighs fully loaded. Great concept, personally I'd also have fitted some wheels to keep my knackered old back happy.

Nope. Mel C was the only one I would ever have brought home to meet my mum. I thought (still do) she was lovely.

Which would mean that the 'chorus' was basically the supposedly Scary one bellowing "I WANT A SHAG". Suddenly the song has a whole new level of comedic value.

Ah but it wasn't her who made the statement in question, it was her traffic/sport/weather/whatever chap. I think he went to see them the other night or something. To her credit, Ms Ball did actually pull him up a bit on his, errm, enthusiastic claim: "What, like forget the Beatles and the Stones and Led Zep...?"

Well that's it. We may as well all give up, lads and ladies. Bloke on Radio 2 has just announced that the Spice Girls are the best British band of all time. We can't compete with that.

I play a simple slow-ish riff over and over agan, mostly lows but with a few dusty end notes and a couple of snaps, and a long low note between repititions. Covers the whole freq range.

Does anyone else remember the days when Brynn Hiscox actually built guitars for a living (astonishing lute-backed acoustic instruments) and the cases were just a sideline of his?

Agreed x2. Having recently got my hands on a 1A, my bitsa P bass is now gathering dust.

I'd try to provide a video, and at a push I would provide proof of ID (albeit suitably redacted for MY peace of mind), but I'd definitely draw the line at social media 'friendship'.

Hold, I've got their second album.

At one time I believe Mark King's live rig was one of these amps with four Trace 4x10s..?
