The guitarist in one of our support bands turned up with a beautiful Les Paul, a Marshall 4x12, and a 6U rack case containing Marshall pre- and power-amps and a whole bunch of flashing lights. He'd basically spent the GDP of a small country to get absolutely the worst guitar sound I have [i]ever[/i] heard. I mean, hilariously dreadful.

Listened to the whole of 'Milliontown' for the first time earlier. OH. MY. GOD. How is it that I have never heard this masterpiece album before? Now hooked.

I agree with HazBeen. Just watched the video review, it's excellent. Some nice playing on there too. I love the way he pronounces the word "balance" as "bell-ends".

I adore my ash V7 fiver, got to say I'm quite tempted by the vintage one but only out of curiosity.

I must be the only bugger here who likes electronic drums. Modern electro kits are incredible. The only reason my drummer doesn't bring his out to gigs is that the wiring loom takes ages to sort out, even with his careful braiding and colour-coding.

I'm not going to try to convince you or anyone else, because it's all individual taste, and the main thing about individual taste is that it's, errm, individual. If you like it, fine. If you don't like it, fine.

Somewhere between a zebra and a dazzle-ship looks amazing. Watching this with interest.

Along with the post-gig tear down, the waiting to go on bit is my least favourite part of the gig. Once we're soundchecked, I'm raring to go and just want to get out there and play.
