Bugger. I've used parcel2go a few times and they've been very good, but it looks like they've just lost my custom. If their cover for even a cased guitar is going to be less than the price of a Stagg, bollocks to 'em.

I play a lot of gigs and have done for years, but I'm no more a 'real' musician than you are. Surely a 'fake musician, i.e. not a 'real' one, is someone who only plays air guitar..?

Vocal preamps & channel strips make for great bass preamps. I've recorded through a [url="http://www.tlaudio.co.uk/docs_07/product_07/5051.shtml"]TLA 5051 [/url]in the past and the sound was lovely. I thought about getting one, but it didn't really fit in with my desire to downsize.

1st one -- all the info is lifted completely verbatim from the Wal database... smells worse than a dead fish in the sun, if you ask me. Who the hell would describe their own bass as "it's [i]the[/i] PB1839" for god's sake? 2nd one looks kosher.

This is looking great. It's nice to see this being restored so well -- I always liked the SB1000s and harboured a secret desire for one myself.

Or if you don't have the tools/facility/wherewithall, give the blurb to someone who has and get them to build it. Worth a try... everyone on here who's built an Omni 10 or whatever has raved about it.
