If it had to be a Fender, I'd get them to make me a Roscoe Beck 5 with the 80s Performer body shape.
On the other hand, I could just get Jon Shuker to build me a headless version... oh god, the GAS strikes...
Last time I lent a bass to a "mate" (an old Columbus Jazz) he promptly moved house, left no forwarding address and dropped off the world. Mike Hague, I hope it exploded in your stupid hippy face.
Absolutely ripping club gig last night, local to me for a change. Local as in a mile from my front door. Big crowd up and dancing right from the 'Buh' of 'Buster...', they even danced to our sound check now the club desperately want us back later in the year and the local beer festival are dying to book us too.
Gratuitous office shot.
Skanking with the crowd
Stumbled across this recently... YYNOT are an American band, they do a lot of Rush stuff but mainly originals, and this is one. The bass is phenomenal.
If at any point in the future I was to invent a time machine, I would already have a house full of Wals and 60s Fenders and a barn full of mint RS2000s.
