  1. Shut Up - Madness
  2. Nope - So Supa
  3. Stumbled across this recently... YYNOT are an American band, they do a lot of Rush stuff but mainly originals, and this is one. The bass is phenomenal.
  4. Enough Already - Pale Beach
  5. The Roses of Success — Chitty Chitty Bang Bang OST
  6. If at any point in the future I was to invent a time machine, I would already have a house full of Wals and 60s Fenders and a barn full of mint RS2000s.
  7. This chap’s pretty handy with one.
  8. Is there a Romulan blood option?
  9. Next is Sam Sweeney, folk fiddler par excellence, at our local folk club. I doubt that he'll have the rest of Bellowhead with him.
  10. Yes and the clue is in the model name...
  11. Not a bass yet, but surely that's next? "Are you ready for the future? Say hello to the WORLD’S FIRST AI GUITAR!🤖 Drawing influence from movies like Terminator and I, Robot, the master luthiers at Ibanez’s Fuji-Jen workshop threw the rulebook out and set their proprietary AI software one task… Build the ultimate rock machine. By inputting the most advanced features available today, they have created something that in 20 years of selling guitars, we could never have comprehended - The IBANEZ RGAI0104. The results are breathtaking. Featuring brand new Photon pickups, a body made from Walnut and Carbon Fibre (with a powder-coated semi-metallic finish from the automotive industry), along with a detachable ‘Cybernetic’ neck that sports a 25.8” scale length (extra tension) and a conical radius fingerboard. Our minds are blown, frankly.🤯" https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02GeLLQEFsR5jGCUW7BzUhVZJvid5tJ8EwwSYPmxHtwyXFZCPNTd63NbRUARSrxF6Tl&id=100044494866962
  12. On the 28th April 28 2016, I said "I have two. Shuker custom 5 and Wal Pro 2E." Still have them.
  13. The Bread's Too Big Without You - Polizei
  14. This was the logo in question (this isn't my bass though, mine was a dark blue). From memory it appeared to be screen printed or suchlike. Whatever it was, T cut did the trick.
  15. I did, yes. There weren't any on my bass.
  16. And damned good they were too. The bass/keys/vocals chap Bibbi Ferrari (or Debbie, as his bandmates apparently call him) had the Gedster's bass tone absolutely nailed, helped in no small amount by the fact that he was playing a Geddy Jazz through a YYZ Sansamp They even broke out the double-necks for Xanadu, although Bibbi's wasn't a Ricky. Recommended if Rush are your thing.
  17. Zombie thread As I said, I found that a vigorous application of T-Cut (other paint restorers are available) did the trick. Needs a good bit of elbow grease, but it does come off and leaves no trace.
  18. La Villa Strangiato (Rush trib from Italy) in Chepstow tonight.
  19. Yup. A gig's a gig... up to a point
  20. I see your FFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAARRRRK and raise you a double FFFFFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRK with cream and a cherry on top.
  21. In the late 80s, I saw a pre EB Ray advertised for £250. I ummed and ahhed and walked away. *slaps self very hard*
  22. Definitely this... also, I would highly, highly recommend trying a thumbpick. I use Herco heavies and for an occasional pick player like me they are absolutely wonderful. I'll never go back to normal picks now.
