2. Hi Muri - the cab is rated at 400 watts so should be fine with these 2 amps.
3. Sorry Paul - these are gorgeous! Only selling as I need a smaller combo due to neck problems. Immaculate and never let me down in 12 years.
4. The best bass cab ever.....
5.
I am indeed. What do you think the delivery cost would be?
Up for sale, my trusty MarkBass MB 102HF in great condition - people that know me know I really look after my gear. When gigged it is always transported with a vinyl cover on. Note - this is the slightly deeper version with the top and bottom ports and it really moves some serious air for such a lightweight and compact cab. Weight is around 43.2 lbs / 19.6 kg and this is the "normal" 8 ohm version. No trades please as I am selling this to fund a MarkBass CMD 102P combo. Here's the info from the MarkBass site: http://www.markbass....etail.php?id=31 Not sure about shipping / postage on this large-ish item so collection preferred please! I live near Horsham, West Sussex. Previous owner de-badged this can but I prefer it - never liked the "Tonka Toys" MB logo anyway :0) Here's the photos. Please note the RoqSolid cover underneath the 2 x 10 cab in the pics is for my Standard 151HR 1x15" cab that the 2 x 10 sits on normally. The cover that will come with the 2x10 is a black vinyl "old school" type of cover that is arguably stronger than the RoqSolid ones. Here's the MarkBass Description: The Standard 102HF cabinet is recommended for bass players who need a smaller pro-sounding rig, or for those who like to combine cabinets! For example by adding a 102HF to a Standard 151HF. Using two 102HF cabs together works beautifully with a stereo power amp. Rated at 400 watts RMS, this small cab packs an impressive punch for its size! This cabinet is available in both 8 ohm (STD102HF-8) and 4 ohm (STD102HF-4) versions.
6. OK I really need to sell this gorgeous SWR and my MarkBass STD 102HF cab now to fund a MarkBass CMD 102P combo! I'll add the MB 102HF as a separate post this afternoon. If anyone out there wants to trade their MarkBass CMD 102P for a separates rig SWR SM500 and a MarkBass STD 102HF cab, let me know! BUMP!!!
7. Good God is this still here?
8. I had this custom built by Max at [sfx] last year but it's not needed anymore due to an equipment change here. The Micro Thumpinator basically cuts out all frequencies below 30hz to avoid overdriving loudspeakers with low frequencies that can't be heard by the human ear to make your amplifier / speakers more efficient. This doesn't affect the output sound you hear from 4 or 5 string basses. For more information, go here: http://www.sfxsound....cro_thumpinator Great demo here too: More info here on its' big brother: http://www.sfxsound....age=thumpinator I also needed a variable buffer as I have a very full pedalboard which had varying tracking issues using my favourite synth pedal depending on whether I used an active or passive bass. This little magic pedal fixed this for me! I have since sold the synth pedal (as I have a new favourite) so I really don't need this anymore. This is in as new condition as it was kept on flightcased pedalboard. I will keep the velcro on in case the new owner needs it. Price: £99.00 posted within mainland UK. No trades thanks. Here's the pics:
9. I have one of these and there is something very special about them...
10. He's back in the saddle now :0)
11. Thought I'd leave him alone if he is poorly rather than feeling like pressurising him about my pickguards :0)
12. Anyone in contact with The Bass Doc?
13. Hi - I got a message from Howard around 15th August saying he'd not been well. I have 2 scratchplates on order with him but there is really no rush for them so I have told him to finish them only when he is 100% ready and fit again. Is there anyone on here that knows Howard personally who can check in with him to make sure he is doing okay? He seems like a genuine good guy and well respected member here so we need to look after him ;0) If you're reading this Howard, get well soon!
