Thanks anyway.
Hi - got a very good friend who is very keen on this beauty but he is having trouble creating a new login on Basschat. He is based in Horley and is extremely keen to view the bass. Whereabouts are you in Surrey? Gary

Just sold my 62 Reissue CIJ Fender Precision to Mark. Great man to deal with, good communications and a happy buyer! Possibly the fastest sale on Basschat - approx 20 minutes I think from posting to selling! Thanks again Mark!

With much regret, it is time to sell my Fender CIJ 62 Reissue Precision Bass. I bought this in October 2009 from Basschat member Simon (Oldgit) - I think it is a 1993-94 model from the Guitar Dater Project website (Simon?). Shortly afterwards saw the Fender Precision Foto Flame neck (Made in Japan) and couldn't resist it as it looked so gorgeous. The neck is circa 1995 so around the same era once again looking at the Guitar Dater Project website. The Olympic White has aged nicely into a cream colour. There is a bit of mojo which is understandable on a bass of this age and nothing that affects the playability, just small dings, dents & scratches. Tried to highlight them in the pics - the worst is shown on 3rd image from end which even then is not that bad. I added the Tortoiseshell pickguard (WD Music) as I wasn't that keen on the original pinky coloured thin version. Whilst doing this I also screened the pickup and control cavity with copper shielding tape. The original scrachplate will be shipped along with the bass though. Straplocks fitted and strap fittings included in sale. Bass plays and sounds great just as it should, very growly and typical Precision woody tones. The neck is beautifully comfortable - quite thin and almost Jazz bass like. Low action as I like it this way :0) Comes with brand new Swing Bass strings 45-105 and Fender gig bag. More information and lots of pics HERE Reason for sale? Tax bill, Accountant's bill and a Sadowsky UV70 on order that needs paying for! I am based near Horsham, West Sussex which is about 25 minutes away from Gatwick Airport. Looking for £375.00 plus £25.00 shipping within Mainland UK. No Trades. Original neck is sold I'm afraid.

Hi - BRAND NEW Pedaltrain 2 pedalboard for sale. Why brand new? Well, I have bought far too many pedals recently so ran out of space on my smaller Pedaltrain 1. As these pedalboards are so great I upgraded to the slightly larger PedalTrain 2 which also comes with the ingenius bracket for fitting a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 underneath so more space for actual pedals. Also newly featured are the 2 holes at the front for routing mains cables. The PedalTrain 2 comes in 2 guises - Soft case and Hard Case. I opted for the soft case but after fitting all my pedals, wished that I had gone for the Hard Case version. Phoned the suppliers - £140.00 plus VAT for just the Hard Case! Best way was to order a new Hard Case version and just keep the hard case and sell the "new" pedalboard with the soft case. So you'll see in the pics below that the pedalboard is still in its wrapping which I took off just to take the photo. All velcro, cable ties and Voodoo Labs bracket supplied as can be seen in the pics. This cost me £120.00 including postage so I think £90.00 including postage in UK mainland is a pretty fair price for a brand new item. Link to Manufacturer info here: PedalTrain 2 Dimensions: Frame 24x12.5x2.5 inches / weight 5 lbs Soft case 26x15x6 inches / weight 7 lbs Price includes Royal Mail p&p, UK mainland. You can collect, I'm in Sussex, 20 mins from Gatwick. Cheque (must clear), cash (if collecting) or bank transfer please.

Hi guys - after a lot of thought I have decided to sell this marvellous machine. Korg G5 Toneworks Synth Processor **SOLD ** Bought in around 1997, this programmable pedal ( 9 editable presets) can nail all those fat funky moogy squelchy sounds from the 70s and 80s, tracks brilliantly and is a much sought after pedal apparently. It has lost it's place on my pedalboard for a smaller but not as good alternative :0) It is in very good condition, the metallic finish has discoloured in a few patches top right and under the knobs on left hand side as you can see from the pic but really not that bad for a 12 year old pedal. I added a white defining line on the important knobs for ease on stage. Includes manual and original mains adaptor. I am looking for £175.00 OVNO Price includes Royal Mail p&p, UK mainland Cheque (must clear), cash (if collecting) or bank transfer please. Not really looking to trade.

I had the pleasure of selling my Warwick Thumb 5 string to Ben. Lovely chap, great communications and super fast payment. Couldn't recommend him high enough! Thanks again Ben and enjoy the bass. I did get a pang of regret when I saw your profile pic with "my" bass in though! Thanks Gary

Just bought a lovely CIJ 62 Reissue Fender Precison from Simon and I am delighted! He took dozens of photos of the bass so that I knew every dent and scratch on the bass before I received it. Then seeing it in real life was a million times better than the images which made them look much worse than they actually were. Great communications throughout, bass arived within 24 hours of him posting plus it was seriously well packaged. he is also a great resource for all things bass and has help me since the purchase with technical setup issues. Thanks Simon - much appreciated!
