Latency can be a HUGE issue! I aim to use a RT linux kernal to minimise this! Of course only time (and sound tastes) will show if this is the case or not! S'manth x

That looks fantastic! And yes, I would aim to be able to host it. Proteus will be linux based, and the MoogerFooger states it is available for Windows and macOS in AUv2, VST3, or AAX formats ... however I believe there are ways available to bridge this to Linux, we shall see! S'manth x

Yes, being able to control using a phone/tablet is (IMHO) a powerful capability ... but having to do so is not. I believe that Proteus must be able to act as totally stand alone unit that can be configured/run without the need for anything else (except perhaps power and a bass lol) S'manth x

My Proteus device will be (I hope) the ultimate bass multi f/x unit ever. With it's web and stomp interface it will be simple to configure, but I must ensure that those with pedal f/x unit skills are addressed. Could you please send me pix of your favorite pedals and a description/weblink as to what they actually do? (So many multil f/x units have inadaquate descriptions of how to tweak/configure the f/x!) I need your help! F/X without any good input sounds are a bit ... useless! My bass playing ability is perhaps 2/10 Over time it will improve but for now ... I would really appreciate any recordings you can supply of "clean" bass grooves for me to pass thru the f/x chain and see how they sound. Th higher quality the better (naturally!) Download links or perhaps links on basscamp? Many thanks in advance! S'manth xx

I have been blessed by so much kindness on BC! Recently I have been supported to obtain (on affordable terms) a f/x unit and bass that have made me smile more than the chesire cat!
