Not even sure how they get away with doing it for that price as Orange seem to have most dealers committed to a fairly uniform price. Also don't forget to factor in shipping - I don't know what Soundunlimited charge, but I bet it's 10 quid like a lot of other places. Anyhow, never mind... not sure why I'm arguing, I've already said that I've lowered my asking price to what everyone else on here is asking for theirs!

EDIT: sold! These were a short-lived model produced by Markbass in Italy for Musicman, and electronically very similar to a Markbass TA503. It's a very full, punchy amp that is pretty rare these days. I've read people comparing it to a beefed-up old school Bassman-type sound with more headroom, which it pretty accurate. Type Musicman HD500 into Google for a bunch of reviews and comments from users. It's in good condition with the expected bit of rack rash. If someone is really interested I can get some pics of it. Was thinking about something like 400 quid shipped? I'm open to offers though as it's hard to gauge a sensible price given their rarity. I'm not sure where you guys are getting your prices new for this amp, but it sells in the range of about 450-460 most online shops and I certainly don't see it for under 400 anywhere! You might have more joy on some guitar-orientated sites like MusicRadar or even the Matamp forum - I think perhaps 100w just isn't enough headroom for most modern bassists, but these are certainly coveted in the guitar world!

You may be a little ambitious in your price, I sold one of these with the matching 4x12 bass cab for 700 a year or two ago and it had just had a full service too. Great amps though, and especially fantastic for guitar - though you can't get it over about 1 on the volume knob with a guitar without killing small animals! Similar vibe to a Marshall Major. Does that Lemmy-type clangy, dirty sound really well for bass.

Is this still for sale by any chance?
