1.
ahhh has this been sold then?
Yeah, previous owner took pity on me :-)
  2.
I used to have one of these, best bass amp I ever had. If I hadn't just been hit with a cripplingly large vets bill I'd have this off you.
Cheers Rhys, Times are tough at the mo' but looks like its returning to its previous owner. :-)
  3.
These are awesome combos. Had mine longer than almost anything else in my gear collection. Been a LOT of stuff come and go over the years, but my 1x10 is never going anywhere....
Yup, if I didn't have a couple of cabs that I was changing the drivers, it would be going nowhere. Great little beastie :-)
  4.
A bargain surely.
I thought so... Shirley.

  6. Sold Emptying my old bits box and found: 3 full sets of strings, and I think a 5 string set with one string missing...or it's a mahoosive E string? Anyway I'll chuck those 4 strings in too. 1 set of flats and 1 set of rounds (nickels I think?) Cut for 2+2 headstock 1 set of rounds (not sure if nickel?) Cut for 4 in a row. I've no idea of the make, but I don't keep strings on basses for long and so they're not grimy or rusty, I also clean strings after each time they're rehearsed or gigged. Might suit someone who wants to try some different strings including flats. £15 the lot, posted to your door.
  7. Bought some strings from Paul. Stupidly quick delivery, he must have a teleporter or summat! Anyway top chap, deal with confidence. Thanks, John
  8.
Experts have modified this instrument over the years in order, no doubt, to further improve tonal quality. Sounds like our old friend is up to his old tricks again!
Hahaha :-)
  9. "Fortunately, the 3 knobs that control the level of crackle still work very well and produce a delightful "crrr crrr crrr" noise as you rotate the knobs." & "the inclusion of several pieces of "nut paper" on two of the strings" Brilliant :-)
