1. Indonesian, immaculate condition Squier Standard 5'er 50 mm nut width 10lbs weight I bought this to compare the balance and upper horn position with my Nanyo BC SB315. Upshot is, I don't get on with 5 string basses, despite this being a beautifully balanced and very well built guitar. £140 or Trade for 6 string acoustic guitar, guitar amp, powered monitors, loop pedal. I'm in north Dorset.
2. I want this.....someone buy my SB315 pleeeeeaaase!?
3. Seriously, there's a full rig and bass, including this http://basschat.co.uk/topic/236819-ashdown-abm500h-rig-l250/ on offer for £650 people! If I were nearer type bump!
4. Well I still can't get on with the long feel of the neck with the strap button position, so it'll have to go! 4 string fender shapes for trade or offers around £175
5. Excellent cab, if I were a gigging player I'd buy this over any others I've owned.
6. Sorry you've got to shift this Russ, probably my favourite Warwick pickup/pre amp combination and the comfiest warwick body IMHO Wishing you a turn in fortune so that you don't have to sell! John
7.
Hi. Is this active or passive? cheers.
Its active, 9volt. Cheers
8.
Hi, Thanks for the offer, but I am looking to thin out my collection of Basses :-)
No problem Mr T. I think I might have to offer the 5'er up for sale so I can buy that shark!
9.
Never tried one of these.how good are they?thanx
This is the first I've owned, and I guess its all subjective, but I think the build quality is excellent, nicely put together, great tonal variation. They appear to have a good reputation that is incongruent with their monetary value. I've spent far more on "lesser" guitars, but the market decides!
10.
Another PM incoming!
Replied Paul.
11.
Pm on your way
PM replied, still for trade.
Dont see many BC fs's on the market .. Great basses for little money imho ..
Thanks, I of course agree ;-)
12. TRADED Or trade for squire bass VI with cash adjustment? Or 4 string P or J type Bass Collection SB315 in pearl white. Alder body. 1 piece maple neck. 24 fret rosewood board. 46mm width nut. 19mm string space at bridge. Black Gotoh bridge & machineheads. Brass nut. Great condition, except a small nick on the D string tuner. Fantastic sounding bass, nice neck, and light. Prefer to meet up. I'm in Dorset, but could do Basingstoke, Bristol or Bath areas.
13. Paul bought a bass from me. Great communication, paid swiftly and let me know when the bass arrived. Really nice to chat on the phone Paul. Top guy, deal with confidence. John
14. Emptying the bass locker bump
15. SOLD Bitsa with Di Marzio 70's pups, larger Schaller machineheads. Squire body and neck. All put together and relic'd by Bassdoc (Howard). The neck is particularly nice, real quality feel to it. 41mm nut width Strung with new round wounds. Lovely action, intonation spot on. 8.6 lbs on the bathroom scales No trades as I'm no longer playing bass, just cash.
16. I fed Greg's tinkering/self build addiction with a maple neck, prompt payment, great comms and an all round cool guy to deal with, thanks! John
17. Westfield P bass, excellent condition. The output from the pickup is surprisingly beefy. This belongs to a student, and I used it for a weekend in a house band. Got some funny looks, but no comments about why a 6'4 18 stone bloke has a pink bass! Anyway, it sounded and played great....drummer loved its clarity. Would buy it myself, but don't really need it. Will have strings & comes in a hard case. £70 posted. Happy to meet up if you'd rather, Bath or Dorset area.
18. Bought a P bass from Joe. Perfect transaction, bass was better than described, great price, great comms, perfect gentleman, even arranged courier before money had hit his account! Thanks Joe, John
