3. SOLD Used for one night. Fitted to P bass. Great sound, wonderful feel, just got too light a gauge. £10 posted, half price!
 4. Really must get this going. Will put the neck into the deal for £75 posted. That's a whole bass, without a bridge or case for £75.....really! The neck is detached, and that's how it will be posted. It's very simple to reattach, with resessed neck plate.

Otherwise £45 posted
 7.
...why does the thought of a secret bottle of whisky stashed away spring to mind? !!
It was the bands' portable bar. :-)
 8.
Not seen anything quite like this with plush velvet lining inside the bass! I imagine its a very different instrument when amplified to when its not. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Upright-Travel-Bass-Project-Custom-Double-Parts-made-by-Bassix-UK-/171218468217?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Sting_Instruments&hash=item27dd6a7d79
Haha, that was made for me by Alan. It came with a mag pup that was fitted to end of the neck. Everything fitted inside the half body case. Looked very interesting on stage.
 9.
It was Steve bbb, but it would seem he no longer works at that company. Perhaps he can point you in the right direction though.
Cheers, I'll ping him a PM
 10. Does anyone know who it is on the forum that does vinyl wraps please? I've done a search, but no results. Thanks. John
 11. So glad you brought yer big beasty to the bash Rev, I did last year and its great way for folk to have a go, and feel what its like to hold that big girl next to you.....ooooer!
 12. Aaaargh! Didn't make it back from Devon in time. Hope you had a good'n.
 13. Probably the bass that's as surprised me the most. Lovely neck, wide tonal range and inexpensive. GLWTS
 14. This may be at the Dorset bash this Sunday if anyone fancies a try out?.....type bump
 15.
....! Oh, and did I mention the initiation ceremony....?
Excellent, I'll bring the rubber gloves this time, far more hygienic than last year. :-)
 16. Might be able to make it now. I'll be bringing a TE combo that's in the for sale section and a MIJ Ibanez Roadstar II RB924 deluxe and, if I can fit it in, a rather nice custom PJ made by a local-ish luthier. Hope to see you Sunday. John
 17.
Is this still available.
Sorry, need to update the thread, it's withdrawn from sale.
 18.
As I live in yeovil and work in sherborne, this is pretty close to me. So what happens at one of these things, and what is good to bring?
You could bring your Rockinbetter along for people to try out, you might get a sale or trade, that is after you've gone through the initiation ceremony that Keith so masterfully presides over.... It's generally a nice chilled time ans a chance to meet some other local bass players, have a go on some gear that you might not have tried before. They're a very friendly bunch in Dorset, and it's very relaxed (once the initiation ceremony has taken place that is)
 19. Jon, that's a brilliant gig.....nice one. I love The Beat.....and The Intercepteurs,....of course...playing the upright?
